Review: perfect acceptable quality a bargain - some of the lower ratings nearly put me off these but i would like to say there is nowt wrong with mine. for a low income family with children these are a bargain and a tasty treat seems there is even snobbery in cake nowadays. used mine to stock my freezer Review: What was I sent through the post - Just received my 6 assorted cakes and I am really dissapointed they are all the same texture dark brown shiny and really dry with no taste ... pretty gross ... so waste not want not Ive feed them to my dogs who enjoyed them a lot more than I did... and will not be buying anymore thats a "NO" from me

What was I sent through the post

Ok but not the best
Cake had a bready texture. Had some flavour but not the best. Planned to put into Christmas hamper for friends and family but doubtful now. Very little fruit/cherries or cream in the cakes. However, the carrot cake was edible with plenty of tea to wash it down. Extremely disappointed and would not buy again or recommend to anyone.

Beautiful
I read all the reviews before buying and was in 2 minds as so much negative response, i can tell any one who orders these will not be dissatisfied, turned up when promised,all very subtle as if made today and sent and all taste excellent, sooo much difference between flavours,,,,I'm just normal guy next door purchased these,,there lovely,don't take any notice of bad reviews,trust me ,x

Assorted cakes
These cakes looked so very nice until we started to try them, very dry, rubbery, no taste in any of them. Good way to give anyone indigestion. At least the birds seemed to enjoy them, most probably they would eat anything as they were starving. I just don't know how you can sell them, you are ripping everyone off.

lovely cake.
these are lovely, and not at all dry as other reviewers have reported.They are much bigger than supermarket cakes I have tried. I received 6 different cakes, and will buy these again.Would be nice to choose which cakes I would like, but Iwas very happy with the selection sent.

Very tasty
After reading reviews for these cakes, I expected them to be dry. I was happily surprises, they are a good size, good value and very tasty. Would recommend.
