Frontier Chamomile Flowers, German Whole (double Cleaned), 16 Ounce Bag

I had never even heard of using loose tea, but now that I have tried it, I can honestly say that it is so much better than bagged tea. I found out about the very existence of loose tea while I was searching for various kinds of tea on Amazon. When I saw what this looked like (chopped up flowers, buds, leaves) I knew I had to try it. The results of brewing and drinking loose tea are a richer, more flavorful cup of tea. Also, after drinking a cup, I can feel more of the tea’s relaxing effect; this is Chamomile Tea, which is the best of all teas for the calming, relaxing results you want, just before you go to sleep at night. Chamomile Tea will provide you with a sound and easy sleep, so that you will wake up relaxed and at ease. When you use loose Chamomile Tea, the benefits are even greater. This item comes in an air-and-light tight bag, which I am keeping in my freezer. I snip a small opening at the corner, to pour the tea into my teapot, and then I seal the opening with a metal clip. You can adjust the amount of loose tea that you want, until you have exactly the right amount to make the perfect cup of tea. This tea is so good that you won’t even need any lemon juice or sweetener.

I am a big fan of Frontier already, but when I received these flowers, I was amazed. You can tell just by looking at them that nothing else has been done to these flowers except drying. The leaves are still in tact and the wonderful color makes holiday tea packs I've made bright and vibrant. This chamomile has worked wonders on taking the excessive bitterness from some black teas. I just mixed 3 parts black tea with 1 part of this chamomile and the quality of the tea changed drastically. I was nervous about getting the 1 lb. bag, but there is hardly any tea I drink now without adding a few of these flowers. It really adds a smoothness to all teas. In addition, I brewed down some of the flowers and used the tea to cut some of the nastiness out of homeopathic medicines I make. It worked really well and also adds the nice calming effect of chamomile to medicines. These are VERY high quality flowers and I have really enjoyed them.

I had only used chamomile from store bought tea bags, so this was a new way to purchase for me. 16 oz of dried herb, is a lot of dried herb, it filled a gallon ziplock bag. They were fragrant, with heads mostly in tact and not a lot of stem. I would say when steeped they were easily twice as flavorful as anything I was used to. Better quality, better price (by a lot), I will never buy spices at the grocery store again. Thanks Amazon.

This Chamomile Tea tastes great and is very easy to deal with. We just add a small amount (e.g., half a teaspoon) to hot (bottled) water, stir a bit and wait. Then we use a standard, metal kitchen strainer to pour it into our cups, typically with some milk already in the cup. A French Press also works very well to brew the tea. The most noticeable effect of the tea is CALMING; the opposite to what you get from Coffee. The claims that it puts you to sleep, are highly exaggerated. The Chamomile also has many other beneficial, medical effects. It has become one of the primary liquids we use, to increase the consumption of water, so that we stay regular. Also, being more CALM, instead of uptight, doesn't hurt the quality of life!

I have bought from this Co. Paby several times and it's always been a good experience. This was no exception. The flowers smell amazing! I had the same dust that people have complained about, but during shipment things get jumbled and settle, so that is to be expected. I just sifted it out and there ares still plenty of flowers. I can't wait to try it!

I bought this Chamomile because the bulk price was so much better than buying small amounts. The package that was sent to me was as big as a small pillow! It is alot of product and I am so happy I ordered it. The flowers are all intact and great quality, sometimes you get alot of fannings and this isn't the case here. The flavor is delightful and now I have enough to share it with friends! I will definately order from Frontier again!

frontier has amazing quality control. everything I've gotten from them is up to the highest standarts. I get a bag of chamomile and peppermint to make my own herbal tea. I only wish that they sold this in organic virsion. you get a huge bag, full of flowers. no fillers or twigs. they smell and taste great. highly recommend

I received mostly whole flowers with a little bit of dust on the bottom which is to be expected. Upon inspection they were clean and have tasted great mixed with some hibiscus, also from Frontier, for my evening tea. I am sold that Frontier is the company to go to for my herbal needs.
