Far nicer & brighter than I expected because of other reviewers' comments. I was especially careful putting them up since others commented on their fragility. I will say tat the packaging is particularly flimsy, that is true, and given that Amazon distribution is not shy about using boxes, I am a little surprised that the lights were shipped in an envelope instead of a box. I guess I was lucky mine arrived intact.

These are so nice and give a vintage feel to our outdoor lights on the house. A few of the bulbs were burnt out, and the customer service was excellent in sending new ones! The color is really nice, and a good value for the money. I would buy these again.

I purchased these lights to put in my outdoor garden under the growing hoops. It has been a very cold winter and the Incandescent lights kept my plants from dying. before I purchased these, I read the reviews and somebody said that the glass was very thin. They are lighter weight than I remember the old lights to be, but adequate. I have not had any problems with breakage.

One bulb on a 25-ct. strand already burned out after 12 hours of use (4% failure rate; since I have 2 strands going - 2% failure rate). The wiring is sturdy, so at least the rest of the strand didn't go out also. Perhaps that bulb was a dud - it happens. l may replace these incandescents with equivalent LEDs later.

What a great thing to finally find. They put a little bit of heat out for my plants in the freeze.

Being older, I was expecting a heavy duty string of lights with heavier bulbs that would stand up to outdoor conditions. Unfortunately the bulbs are Extremely Fragile! These are the most fragile bulbs I have every used and I doubt they will hold up for outdoor use in heavy wind if they are going to hit against anything solid. Since they came without the bulbs inserted in the sockets, while attempting to do that I dropped one and it shattered into a zillion pieces. There wasn't a single replacement bulb or fuse included so I was then unable to test the string to see if it worked or use it at all. Also, when screwing in the bulbs they didn't seem to want to go in straight. It was as if the socket did not quite line up with the screw pattern on the bulbs. Based on the problems I have mentioned and the fact that I could not even turn the lights on to test them, I am forced to give this product a 1-star rating. If you purchase this strand I would strongly recommend that you realize you MUST purchase replacement bulbs at the same time because you will likely break one or two during the process of stringing the line (especially if doing it outdoors). Also, bear in mind that a replacement fuse does not come with the string so if the fuse goes you will not have workable lights. I have ordered replacement bulbs and once they arrive and I am able to test the strand I will return and rate the functionality of the strand.

Very warm and bright, but bulbs are extremely fragile. I would recommend leaving them on the the plastic thing them come on and take them off as you’re installing. Biggest disappointment was not ONE a replacement fuse in any of the SIX boxes I purchased. One fuse was dead before I even installed them.

Nous avons reçu nos lumières. Elles sont magnifiques. Malheureusement 3 lumières n’allumaient pas. Le service après vente fut éfficace et rapide. Nous avons reçus 4 lumières de rechange . Nous sommes vraiment satisfaits!

Xmas lights work well. Used to keep citrus trees warm in winter on Vancouver island.

First this is definitely NOT for outdoor use! The bulbs are made of very thin glass! 2 bulbs broke during unpackagaing and the 3rd broke during the first rain fall!! I've only had them for a few days!! Who makes outdoor lights thin glass??? Waste of time and money.
