Surfer / treetop flyer approved (03 Toyota sequoia)
2003 Toyota sequoia Limited. 240k miles , BG EPR engine prof. Restoration before oil change every 5000 miles starting from now on .240k miles . W/BG MOA oil supplement after . I’ve been using the BG 440 since last 70 k miles or more to keep the fuel lines and injection clean ! That works great! So I’m gonna give us a try for I heard it from A Toyota Sequoia GROUP that it’s penicillin for your engine. I used a lot of different brands seafoam , redline . Lucas. Marvel’s mystery oil . This BG is a great good treatment! You’ll feel the power right away! lol you’ll end up hammering it coming on 95 getting a thrill ride from the whole shot once you feel the power boost lol . I’m very stoked on this brand .. I drive normally but this one has been great one time mashing the peddle I think it was a excuse for me to say I’m getting the junk out of the top end and the o2 sensors not harmed . Needless to say BG 440 has been great to me. Well worth the $20 bucks! I’m gonna go with this. Oil treatment now on , lyk if any problems later . So far so good! Worth the price! And I’m very frugal . Made in USA 🇺🇸 sealed packaging on time !

Just like others have stated, this stuff really does clean!
Used this on my son's new-to-us '97 4 Runner with over 200k on the odometer. I replaced the oil when we first got it and put a few hundred miles on it before I used this stuff. I wanted to make sure there was new oil in the engine, as the previous owner said it was almost due for a change when we bought it. The oil was still like new and had no color yet, so using this stuff would really give me an idea on how well it would do. Boy was I shocked at what came out 20 minutes later!!! I love BG Products and have used 44K for decades in all my vehicles, as well as MOA on a few engines too, but I was still skeptical on how well this would clean. Let me first say that I have never, in all my years of wrenchin' on stuff, smelled such a foul chemical! This stuff just plain stinks! It permeated my shop for 2 days (I won't do this in winter again in my closed shop, that's for sure!)!!! So, in goes the can, I pull the vehicle outside to let it idle for 10 minutes, shut it off and check the dipstick. Yeah, just what I thought, oil still looks clean and clear. Well, time to take it for a little drive through the neighborhood, maybe it just needs to cycle through at a slightly higher rpm. I literally drove it around two loops in my neighborhood, never getting over 2,000rpm, just kind of idling through most of it. I pull back in my shop, shut it down and check the dipstick. WTH?!?!?! Its like dark chocolate now! Okay, let's drain this thing and see what it comes out like. Yep!!! It is BLACK AS NIGHT!!! I noticed too that the area under the oil cap is not gunky or brown any more, its freakin' clean in there!!! I let the runner sit overnight with the oil filter and oil pan drain plug off so everything drips down and out. Screw the plug back in the next day, screw a new oil filter on, drop 5 quarts of Mobil1 in it and go for a 20 minute drive. Its idling really smooth now, and the damned thing feels peppy for a 200k+ vehicle! Yep!!! She's able to break the wheels loose at stop signs now!!! The engine never smoked before, and its not smoking now either, so that's a good sign! Its been about a month since we did this service and the oil is still nice and clean, no lopey idle, runs really smooth, feels like a new engine! I'm sold on this stuff for cleaning up a high-mileage engine! Hell, I may even use a small amount of it on my ride-on lawn mower just to make sure the oil rings aren't gunked up, because I'm pretty sure that's where a lot of the black stuff came from. If you have an old, high mileage engine that you want to give a good cleaning to from the inside, look no further, BG's cleaner will definitely clear out the greasy, varnished gunk in just a few minutes and might even restore a little pep back into your vehicle!

Use it right before changing engine oil - Works well
Used this a few times on my wifes car, (09 Audi A4 2.0T), right before I change the oil. Didn't see any chuncks or signs of metal debrie after during or after the oil change. Car's engine seemed smooth out and idle better after use. It is fairly strong smelling but not over powering. I'd say it's good value for the money as I believe it's helping to extend the life of the engine.

BG EPR IS LEGIT....Treated a GM 3.6L LFX V6
I picked up a can of BG EPR for my wife's 2016 Chevy Equinox 3.6L AWD. I bought this SUV used with 63K miles, I didn't know the prior maintenance history. The 3.6L V6 in this model year is GM's LFX version, which I believe they fixed some of the PCV issues from the previous gen which causes people oil burning issues. If you know anything about Direct Injection engines, they take a higher level of maintenance with the potential carbon build up/sludging issues. I was kind of worried when I first opened the can, the smell will just about knock you on your feet and I'm sitting there thinking...."They want me to run this in my oil?!" So I followed the directions, immediately drained the oil and it came out literally pitch black. Whatever carbon deposits/gunk it cleaned, it definitely all came out with that oil. Changed the filter, refilled with Supertech 5w30 Full Synthetic, fired it up and I could tell instantly the sound of my engine was quieter and smoother. Ever since I did this single BG EPR treatment, this 3.6L V6 runs fantastic. Every oil change since doing this treatment, I can tell the oil comes out cleaner looking than before I did this BG treatment. If you're on the fence about using this stuff, just do it. You should only need a single treatment to see/feel some amazing results.

It Works
I have used this in old honda, with low miles. The vehicle was driven around the city most of its life. Every time I have used this cleaner, the oil always comes out black. I have noted the oil now stays very clean for almost 1,000 miles when I use this with MOA, which is a large improvement. I've also noted about a 1 to 2 mpg improvement. I had a compression test done in January and Cylinder number 5 was the lowest on the compression tests. I will have another compression test done around 100,000 miles. (mileage at last compression test was 77k). I will be curious to see how Clyinder 5 is doing. I do recommend this product.

Freed up stuck piston rings
Smells like Acetone going in and Tolulene coming out. Add to crankcase when cold so the low flash acetone has some time to clean before evaporating. The tolulene will still be in the oil after bringing to operating temperature and running at 1200 rpm for 10-20 minutes. This should do a good job of freeing up the bottom piston rings, i.e. oil control rings. Oil will come out black. Don't forget to change the oil filter. For top piston ring (compression), you can remove the plugs and pour 2 oz per cylinder (inline 4 & 6 cylinder) then let soak for a few hours. Check after first hour to see if still covering piston top and add as necessary. Be sure to suck out any remaining oil with a turkey baster and then turn the engine over using the starter to blow out remaining fluid before putting plugs back in. This worked for me and freed up the compression ring in number 3 cylinder of a Toyota 2AR-FE engine.

Your Car will run Cleaner and Smoother with Less Sludge Buildup
BG products are great and I have been using them for years. I have a 2003 Toyota 4runner with over 200k miles on it. I use the EPR almost every oil change to make sure I remove as much of the old oil and carbon as possible. I can tell it makes a difference when I drain the oil pan and see the oil color. Be careful if you have never used this before and you have an old and dirty engine. You may loosen sludge that can clog your oil pump. If you ever get an oil pressure warning light, stop driving the car and get the pump checked.
