Will this work for solid copper wire 14-12 gauge?

i use it on AFW 180 lb single strand leader wire. don’t know off hand what the gauge is but works great. anything smaller than the 180 lb would be handled easily. not sure about above 180 but don’t see any problem if you have the strength to pull it through. the tool is well made and strong.

How's it on 20g+ wire?

It will take a strong hand, but it should do the trick. I bought this and used it on 18g wire it's not easy, but it straightened it.
