Bought this in lieu of replacing just the ball joint on my 2006 Silverado which would've required cutting and driving out the factory rivets. Amazing quality and fit, couldn't tell the difference between factory and this part. Alignment was still dead on after install. As I figured, MOOG did not disappoint.

Perfect for my 2002 Chevy Silverado. Bolts right in with no hassle. Ball joint already installed in control arm so what a deal! Better then messing with removing rivets and replaceing just the BJ on the OEM control arms. Highly recommend.

My son is a master mechanic and needed some items for the shop. This was one of them, he really enjoyed the quality of this product and how easy it was to install

This is a great part. It fit perfectly. Both lower controller arms I received had parts missing... The bolt on one and the grease fitting on the other. It cost me $14 to resolve the grease fitting issue at a local store on rebuild day. I missed my first weekend install as the unit never made it. Amazon was great about getting me a new one for the next weekend. The arm fit perfectly. I hesitated in replacing the lower control arms. The springs and the upper arms were my target. In the end we found the old lowers to have aging rubber on the frame side. These have contributed to the insanely solid ride I am getting now. It was worth replacing this 13 year old part while in there doing the other work.

I tried to just buy ball joints but I gave up trying to remove the giant Rivets, I bought these and it was way faster and easier to just replace the entire control arm!

Better than stock. Perfect fit. Excellent quality of construction. Better product and lower price than what was availible ant the four different big chain auto parts stores in my area. Amazon does it again.

So the body of the arm is geometrically identical to the one it replaced, which is great. But the reason I had to replace the entire arm to begin with, and not just the lower ball joint, it because of the stupid rivets from the factory. I can't understand why a company making aftermarket replacements would use rivets and not just nuts and bolts. The individual replacement ball joints Moog sells for this arm come with nuts and bolts, so why use rivets!? Also, don't expect to get mounting hardware with this part. Mine did not come with any replacement bolts, but luckily did come with a zerk fitting for the ball joint.
