Back Up Alarm,97dB,2-1/2" H 210239-S - 1 Each

When it comes to vehicle safety items, you can't be cheap. This Federal Signal back up alarm fits the bill well for my work trucks. 97 decibels is loud enough for most environments to get people's attention. However, there are still people that don't pay attention to the alarm, so you always have to double check your surroundings. This alarm has been installed on for one week as of this review, and is holding up to the weather and dirt well.On a side note, I did wire in a switch so that I can turn the alarm off from inside the cab as I wish. Plowing residential driveways in winter early in the morning, some people don't take kindly to the noise of an alarm, so this way I can silence it when needed.

Works as expected. Please note: you only get ONE unit. Even thought the image shows 2

Works great just tied into the backup light wiring and heat shrink the wires and good to go. Good volume as well.

I'm old school and have depended on the Federal Brand Backup alarms. This one hasn't let me down at all. very easy to install, is dependable, is rugged, and has the db required for the application.

You can never go wrong when purchasing a Federal Signal item. They have been around way longer than any of us and are probably the innovators. Of most of the emergency and industrial truck add ons

Works perfect! I got the 87 dB it's loud enough to alert pedestrians or drivers .

It was excellent, it was for a fire truck and was loud enough to hear.

So the photo clearly shows 2 alarms. Not a front and back view, but two front views. One is wired in the photo and one is not. So what are you going to get if you order this product? There was only one alarm in my box and it was not the wired one. So I guess you are buying an alarm and it might come with wires attached and it might not. So just like the other reviews say, you only going to get one alarm. I guess you have a 50/50 chance of getting wires, who knows? I will need to run some wire as this is a new install. The unit feels solid and should work just fine. Good luck on your order and install.
