SAKURA Gelly Roll Classic White 3 Pack, 08 Medium Pt., Opaque Gel Pens, Creamy Smooth Ink, Writes on Dark Paper

I purchased the "BRIGHT WHITE INK 0.4MM", and I absolutely love them! Here are some things they are super effective doing: • Over markers ---- They are really visible, and so smooth • Highlights --- They give your drawing a super nice touch and pop • Whiting out mistakes --- You can also use them to white out mistakes such as markers or pencil. • Hand art --- Pretty looking on hands. THINGS THEY DON'T DO WELL WITH: • Pastels --- They don't show and cause the drawing to have streaks. They also remove the pastel onto the highlighter pen and ruin the tips • Over white paper--- Doesn't show (obviously) but it still dent show after you put color over it. SO I would recommend not using it before but using it after when drawing over things. (*You sometimes do have to go over a few times when using over marker) These are super smooth and are so nice 😍 and have really high quality definitely recommend them!

I loved these pens! No smearing, the color pops with amazing ink flow. The color really pops, they are easy to use! The caps are snug, and are not just adorable but they keep the pens fresh! The quality and functionality of these pens makes the purchase worth it!

Sakura products are high quality and almost always good at what they do. This particular white pen, however, is not quite there. The tip wants to catch on the paper, and the ink may or may not flow. When it works, it is great (drawing dandelion fluff anyone?). When it does not, it is frustrating. I wish it was more reliable, because I really want to like it.

Opaque white ink leaves a good line on tinted or dark paper. I've used these for designs on black paper and been very pleased with the results. It is possible to wait a short while and go over the first line and build up more ink on the drawing. These also work out well for adding highlights when used on grey or tan paper. Well, really they are great for any non-white background. They can even be used to cover mistakes made on white paper. Update 10/2/2016: I just discovered another use for these pens. I have lots of generic, black nylon cases with who-knows-what in them. The Sakura Gelly Rolls will write on the nylon. When it's dry, it doesn't rub off. I had to go over the writing a few time to get it to show well. I just let it dry some, then wrote over it again. Each time the writing showed up better than the time before.

I have used many white ink pens, but these are by far the best, both in quality and price. The ink is a pure, opaque white and shows up on almost any given media. (I often use them to add detail on colored pencil, water color and Copic marker drawings.) They can also be used to cover up any small mistakes you make (even over black ink) and the ink doesn't dry right away, so you can usually clean up any mistakes before it dries. ^^ I would definitely recommend these to any artist who is looking for high quality white pens to use.

I have had problems with gelly pens in the past and was recommended this brand by an art group I am in. I love them, they are smooth and roll great on thin or thick paper. They are great for highlight with black work and amazing on black or great background. This is a great pen to have on hand when you need something to pop. The ink does not get gunky or skip while drawing, it does take a second to dry so be patient but that is normal with heavier inked items. I like having 3 on hand so when I use up the first the next is already ready to go. I definitely recommend these.

These pens work well. They are great for highlights and other things when I draw. They write on the paper easily, and even over my markers, watercolors, and color pencils. I bought them from The Exotic... Something store, and they shipped and delivered my pens quickly! I got it on Friday, after I ordered it on Sunday. They also gave me an extra pen because they ran out of the 3pk pens. I would buy this pen from them again, and I would advise you to do so too.

These are good if you are using them simply for writing on black paper, but I bought them with the intent of using them over the top of colored pencil and watercolor sketches. A lot of times they skip as they write, especially over colored pencils, and the ink really isn't strong enough to stand out, sometimes even looking a bit translucent rather than opaque. I've attached two examples of sketches I've done using these pens (the images have been cropped to enlarge the specific area). On the colored pencil sketch (the cat's ear), the pen markings have a scratchy look to them. The ink does not flow smoothly over this medium, sometimes you have to go back over the same thing a few times with a lighter touch to fix the areas that didn't come out right. If you look closely, you can see that on each stroke I made with the pen, the outer edges of the stroke are white from the ink, while the inner section of the stroke is bare where the ink did not deposit onto the paper. On the watercolor sketch (the owl), the ink is visible, yes, but the watercolor shows through the white, so the white takes on a gray, translucent appearance. A good white ink pen will not do this, so if you are buying these to use for your sketches or drawings, purchase another brand with better ink.

The white gelly rolls are great. They are opaque, so are great for using on top of pencils and paints for adding highlights or extra details. I've had no issues with the ink flooding or stopping, but I do use a scrap price of paper to scribble on to get the ink flowing before I use it on my project, and again if the paint/pencil gets clogged on the ball. They are lovely and smooth to use. My favourite white pens for sure.

Great pens! Work well even for writing notes. Grip is hard plastic which can be annoying over long periods of writing but other than that no complaints.

ネットで話題となったフォントのような綺麗な文字を書く少女の動画で使用していたので気になって買ってみました。 とても書きやすく、動画では明朝体のように「はね」や「払い」もしっかり付けていて、ボールペンでここまで綺麗に筆のようにできるんだなぁ、と感心しましたが、実際にやってみると、かなり再現できました。（もちろん文字の上手さまでは再現できませんが） SAKURAブランドで、ボールペンにも"JAPAN"の記載があり日本製かと思いますが、日本では売っていない製品ですよね。 是非に本でも売って欲しいのと、白以外の入手性が非道く悪いので、充実させて欲しいところです。特に黒を。

Voici un set de 3 feutres blancs opaques compléments très utiles pour l'illustration. Très pratique et de bonne qualité d'encre. Le prix chez AMAZON m'a fait craquer sur ce choix que je recommande aux dessinateurs amateurs d'illustration. Sans hésiter.
