Raise ITS Furniture Risers Bed Riser, Black 1"x4"x4" (8 Count)

Though I teased my Mom about using the space under her bed for storage of things that she has too many of (shoes,) I decided to surprise her with raising her bed, with some sort of device that she had heard about from my brother. Being handy in the wood shop, I considered making a set of 4 or 6 very basic wooden blocks, like many of the existing products that I had seen while searching Amazon. When I ran across the "Raise Its," I was immediately drawn to them as they are clear, and practically invisible. This immediately solved my problem of what type of wood I was going to use and the quandary over stain to use to match my Mom's existing bedroom decor. Two days later, I was installing these 4 neat little see-through blocks under my Mom's bed frame. To be such a simple device, the Raise Its are well designed and well thought out, feature packed, contraptions. Not only are they stack-able, but they also came with little anti-slip thingies, and they even have an indent for the bed frame wheels to properly be seated in a stationary manner. The best thing that ever could have been inside the pack was the seventh and eight block. I had not anticipated that the bed's headboard needed to be supported as well. This is a well thought out package in my opinion, especially considering the fact that most of the others, with their bodacious designs, were more expensive and came in sets of only 4. So not only did the Raise Its meet my technical requirements of being low profile, both physically and by design, my Mom was more than impressed. She probably needs only 3 or 4 more King sized beds to hide the rest of her shoes! Thanks Raise Its!!!

My mother and I just moved into a house that was built in 1905. We love it, but unfortunately, the floors in the bedrooms lean. I can live with the incline during the day, but it was bothering me at night, laying in my bed. These risers were the solution. They were among the few risers I found that were 1" high, and stack-able. That made it easy to adjust for the crooked floors (one side of my bed needed to be raised up an inch higher than the other side). Now, I hardly notice the crooked floors at all, because my bed is level. The risers themselves are very durable, and stack easily. They feel very solid, and I love that they're clear, rather than colored plastic. My mom wound up using them on one side of her bed as well, because they worked so well for me. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. A few quick notes for anyone buying these risers: 1: We have wood floors, and the rubber on the risers is enough to keep the risers stationary...mostly. I notice that my bed gradually shifts a little over time, and I have to push it back into position. 2. Though you get 8 risers, you only get four rubber bottoms for those risers. 3. If you're using these for a bed, it can be hard to get the bed wheels into the cradle on the risers. You might need some help to make sure the wheels are in a good, stable position. These are small issues, and not enough for me to change my rating of the product. I'm so glad that I got them, and I would definitely recommend them.

Bought this to create clearance under the bed for a Roomba that frequently went MIA. These are sturdy and durable, but the 1" height is not what I imagined. I don't think the 1" includes the divot for the wheel, so it is actually less than an inch of rise. I chose this one because the width gives a sturdy base and it's stackable. I would feel confident stacking three of these, but at the price I'm not sure this was the best choice. I'm giving four stars because I feel that this is not a good value at $20. I have no complaints about the quality and ability to perform its stated purpose. I am not factoring the height as a shortcoming (pun not intended).

GREAT PRODUCT AT A GREAT PRICE!!! I had been looking for the right way to slightly raise my bed to allow "Under-Bed Storage Boxes" to fit. I checked out many that were far more expensive, ugly, and not nearly as solid or as stable. These "Raise-Its" are molded with a depression in the top center that is ideally shaped and suited for seating and immobolizing the wide casters that are used on most modern bedframes. However, even if you have wide circular "feet" on the bottom of your bedframe posts instead of casters, they are more than wide enough to accommodate them. I only needed to raise my bed height one inch and these worked great. Because they are so rigid and interlock securely when stacked, they were very solid... so much so that I'm sure they would be equally solid even if you needed to stack them three deep, which is the maximum the manufacturer suggests. In addition to being ideally designed for bed casters, posts, or legs, they are made of truly CLEAR plastic that is as attractive as possible. This was important because my bedframe casters were almost even with the bedframe edge and, since the bedskirt now no longer quite reaches the floor (after raising the bed an inch), the risers can be seen. Carpeting was still clearly visible through the risers almost as if they were not there at all. THESE "RAISE-ITS" SEEM TO BE THE BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT FOR THE INTENDED PURPOSE, AND ARE PRICED RIGHT AS WELL - EXCELLENT VALUE!!!

These do exactly what they are supposed to do! Recently my husband and I purchased a robot vacuum cleaner. I had been getting so frustrated with trying to vacuum the dust bunnies that live under my couch, and cannot figure out how to adequately get them out! This lovely vacuum needed just a little more clearance under our couch to be able to take care of the dust bunnies, and that is what these Raise Its did! They brought the clearance under my couch up about 2 inches, and now the dust bunnies are taken care of by my great robot vacuum! Thank you Rase Its for being in existence and making my life less dusty as a result! The ones I purchased are clear, you stack two together, the bottom one has a felt pad on it to help protect the floor. They are not distracting nor do they catch your attention, which is exactly what I wanted in my living room. You cannot tell that the couch is taller even unless you are looking for it. These are a wonderful, albeit simple product that solves my issues.

Exactly what I needed to raise my nightstand (after getting another bed, the platform-bed-level nightstand wasn't cutting it). I bought the clear ones in hopes they would be somewhat unobtrusive on our light-colored wood floors. Indeed, that is the case. My nightstand has square legs, which don't exactly fit very well in the rounded-impression, but they do fit, and it seems very stable. (Nightstand is heavy and solid wood floor) ... other reviewers were commenting that they don't work as well on carpet, but they are just fine on solid floor. There is a small, thin (seems cheap) black rubber non-slip grip on the bottom of 4 of them. I used two like the demo photo, so 8 was the perfect amount. (If you only need a small amount of rise, and you plan to use just four of them, or all 8 separately, you may want to put a felt pad or rubber gripper on the other four.) I will attach a photo so you get an idea. The risers are visible, of course, but the nightstand is now at a much more comfortable height, and I am willing to overlook the cosmetic appearance for comfort!

Ordered these to raise the bed to allow for underbed storage. Only used 6 of the 8 due to needs ( king sized bed) , noticed there was only 5 rubber type inserts included with the shipment, called company and asked why there should not have been 8 was told there should have only been 4 and that there were intended to be used on wood flooring and that extra inserts would cost $.25 each , so if your install was similar to mine (and you had wood floors) you would have to buy 2 extra inserts, how much could the company save by not including the a few more inserts, other than that these do suffice.

I tried 2 other products before I found this one. The others were too tall, bulky, and ugly for use in the living room. I just needed something that would raise the couch and love seat up so that my NEATO robot vacuum (which is also awesome) could make it all the way under and out the other side. I only needed to raise them about an inch and I wanted something that was as un-noticeable as possible. These Raise Its did the job! I ordered only one box, which is 8 pieces. I put the risers with the non-slip on the back legs of the couch and love seat to prevent slipping on the hardwood floor and the risers without the non-slip on the front legs since they are on the rug that reaches part way under the fronts of both furniture pieces. Looks great and no more having to rescue the robot vacuum! I'm very impressed. I wish the profile was just a tad bit smaller, maybe a round shape instead of a square shape, but that's just a product enhancement recommendation for the manufacturer. I am so happy that I found a solution that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Getting out of lower couches and chairs gets more to be more of chore with each passing year. These furniture risers have seen constant and demanding use over the last couple of years. They are easy to place and after awhile you don't notice them. They are strong and stack well. They are stable and don't slip or separate, even on hardwood. Each one is about 1" in height. We have used 2 risers stacked for several of our pieces of furniture. Most furniture legs will fit nicely. A good product. Richard Monks

These work great. I had the one piece kind, with the angled sides. They don't hold as much weight. And as I discovered one frisky Sunday morning, they don't hold up to much movement. The castor punched right through! These ones are way more robust and have a much higher weight rating. And they just seem more stable overall. I definitely recommend them.

These are great! I use them to prop up my large computer monitor.... very stable and they blend well with the wood-grain finish on my desk.

These work very well to raise the height of an armchair. However it should be borne in mind that once placed, the armchair should stay in that set position, unless repositioned.
