Amazing looking filament. Prints smoothly without an issue and barely any visible layer lines at thin layers. Love the colour gradient. This model produced a bit of stringing but that's to be expected. Quick blast from a heat gun and it came out perfect. Such good filament for the money would definitely buy again

I have used Eryone a few times before and it has always given me a good reliable standard of print and I think there silk rainbow filament is no different. I printed this filament at 195 degrees without any issues. If there are any issues with the prints its normally my user error which can be removed with a little fine tuning of retraction etc which is normal when you change filaments as they use different additives. The things I look for in good filament when I get it is a consistency of the thickness of the filament which in this case should be 1.75mm. You can see this filament is within the tolerances they claim and I measured multiple places along the filament and it remained pretty consistent. (I have added a picture to support that) The 2nd thing I look for is how the filament lays down on that critical first layer. The rainbow filament is beautiful when it lays down on the bed (I printed at a bed temp of 50 degrees) but don't take my word for it check out the added picture. In general you can see from the images the smooth shiny surface you would expect from a silk filament and I have added some pictures so you can see the colour change and what you can expect when you print this filament. If I had any negatives it would be that I felt I was missing the blues from the picture showed however this is a very minor issue and may have been just my one roll. One further thing I would mention with Eryone is there great customer service. I have had a bad roll from so many companies usually due to moisture and it can happen to any company you buy from. What I would expect from a good filament company is that the company replaces that roll if its very bad without fuss (although I will normally try a dryer first) Eryone have always had for me one of the best responsive and easiest customer service to deal with. This is an easy choice to buy this filament and if its on one of there deals snap it up and have fun printing it.

Purchased reluctantly after having issues with other brands silk PLA and i must say i was pleasantly surprised. This printed like a dream and although slightly more brittle (as expected) than normal PLA it was still quite tough, also compared to other brands i have used this produced very little stringing. I am V impressed and will be purchasing other colours in this brand. The colour was perfect too (i used it for an Iron man helmet).

funky to use for printers with only one spool fitment. quality looks nice and bonded well during the print. stuck to the plate well. no clogs and I had a kobi maxi printer. worth a try if its a colour grade you want to test

I needed a multi-coloured PLA - and this one looked good and when printed the material looks good - but I would not buy this again - it is trouble - it is very very delicate with getting the settings correct for it - but impossible to do any large-ish print with it - it is either kinked on the roll or automatically kinks coming off the roll and then it jams in the extruder - no matter what machine I use or anything - I had to hand-feed it into the extruder and yes it appeared to come off the roll with kinks which will jam the extruder - I had to cut out and join to remove the kinks. I changed to a different manufacturer - problem completely gone …. Sorry…. Maybe I got a bad roll ?

Lovely colour tones! It's worth noting that the colour doesn't seem to change with view angle and seems a little random but overall I love it. Very smooth silk finish!

Ich habe schon einige Rainbow-Filamente ausprobiert, aber dieses hier von ERYONE sticht wirklich heraus – der Glanz ist beeindruckend und der Farbverlauf kommt extrem lebendig rüber. Die Farben wechseln schnell genug, sodass man selbst bei kleineren Modellen deutlich mehrere Töne sieht, was bei vielen anderen Filamenten nicht der Fall ist. Der Druck lief absolut problemlos. Die Maßhaltigkeit liegt sehr stabil bei ±0,03 mm und ich hatte keinerlei Probleme mit Verstopfungen oder schlechter Layerhaftung. Das Filament ließ sich direkt ohne große Anpassungen auf meinem Standard-PLA-Profil drucken. Auch die Oberflächenqualität ist top – die Teile sehen fast aus wie poliert. Was mir besonders gefällt, ist der „Ultra Shiny“-Effekt. Das Filament hat diesen seidigen Glanz, der vor allem bei dekorativen Objekten richtig was hermacht. Ich habe eine Vase und einige Schriftzüge gedruckt, die sehen aus, als wären sie aus lackiertem Kunststoff. Natürlich ist der schnelle Farbverlauf Geschmackssache – wer sehr gezielt bestimmte Farbbereiche einsetzen will, muss etwas experimentieren. Aber für kreative, auffällige Modelle oder Geschenke ist dieses Filament ideal. Ich bin absolut zufrieden und werde es definitiv wieder bestellen.
