I have been using it for a few years - great color, good grey coverage. I get compliments on my hair at least once a week. Easy to use, doesn't seem to damage hair (dark ruby). I do have to use it every 4 weeks (you can see some grey on the pic already after 2 weeks), but I am willing to do so for the results. The color looks dark red in the artificial/little light, but becomes vibrant red with purple hues in the sun.

I do not understand some of the reviews. I have used this product, in this color since 2019, I absolutely love it, and the results, i do have mostly gray hair, and when first applied, it is a really dark vibrant blue, i like it best when it has faded some after a month, i get nothing but compliments. It leaves my hair shiny, bright and fully saturated, i have thick, course hair, that is just below my shoulders, I use the full color and head application each time, not just the roots, and have never had any issues, It fades, like all color, you should NOT wash your hair daily if you want to keep hair color in and fresh. unless you want to color every 3 weeks.

Thank you. *** very easy to use *** smells great, does not have an obxnious chemical smell *** Dyes your hair quickly *** worked very well to dye my hair even over non metallic brand splat ombre pink/violet ( I had that color at the top of my hair) and this brand and shade blue metallic at the bottom (the last picture shows how the color my hair was before it faded out to a gray washed out version of it hence gave me the desire to dye it this time all one color) I decided to color my entire head all in the same shade and it covered very well. } Even though it washes out a bit each time you wash it, I love that you can work in the yard or house and work up a sweat and the dye stays on your hair unlike other hair dyes where when you sweat it runs down your face and neck. You can get sweaty and not turn into smurfette with this brand. } This color and brand dyed my hair the exact color to the box color shades predicted. I've never before had hair color that matched the box but this did. } I have always hated having my hair a dark color but I love this dark color. Depending on the lighting my hair looks dark blue to violet and sometimes dark brown/black in some camera shots without the flash on it even looks normal dark brown to black. PRO TIPS: 1.} Cover your counter in old towels or piddle pads (does stain counters and showers and skin if not washed off asap) before starting to mix the hair dye. 2.} Use lotion> I used the dollar tree chamomile relaxing-sleep lotion. Apply around edges of your hair line widely/thick, apply on shoulders, chest. This hydrates your skin as a bonus but even better when you inevitably as we all do-> The ends of your hair that is coated in the dye touches other areas of your body by using the lotion then when you rinse your hair the lotion keeps it from dying your skin and face blue/ purple. If it does get on area without lotion on it quickly/asap wash with soap and water otherwise your skin will be purple/blue til it fades off. 3.}. Other people says this dyes your white showers I have learned this is true if you let the color sit and dry on your white or light colored showers/counters/walls but if you wash it with water and even use soap and rinse it very well before it dries it will not color or stain. 4.} I did have a few hair strand loss but not a lot. Use the conditioner the kit provides. It made my hair feel so healthy and soft. 5.} Make sure to massage the dye in and even comb through it with a non metal comb then massage in again. This helps to evenly coat each hair strand, and seems to help the dye to work or activate better, and you get a massage at the same time. THE CONS 1.} The permanent color does fade quickly to a washed out color that I absolutely hated. It does wash out a little bit each time you wash your hair. 2.} It will dye your white/light colored towels and will not come out. 3.} It does not color dark hair which is a huge bummer. I hate that. You must bleach your hair to blondest blonde possible before using this brand. It will work on light color hair just not dark hair. 5.} It will dye your skin and showers/counters if you do not heed my tips. 6.} Make sure each time you wash your hair after the initial dying process that you rinse your shower out very well. Over all I will buy this brand and color again.

This product is easy to use.Gives a nice dark purple hue. I've been coloring my hair with this color for several years now. I'm like the way it enhances. My dark hair and brightens my gray. And it lasts it does not all wash out.

I've been dying my hair this shade of red for about 30 years now when I get around to it. So I may do it once or twice a year when I first started I kept it up pretty regular. But I figured hey metallic that's a cool look I'm going to go with that. Well not only did the car not last very long and now I have hair that looks for like I don't want to say pink I'd like to say sort of like faded red hair I think that's the color that I'm looking for on the color wheel. As for metallic? I never noticed it. in fact, I was distracted by the fact that I didn't feel like my hair had been dyed dark enough to match the shade on the box that I didn't even notice the lack of metallic or even iridescent qualities. I guess these people that give it good reviews are pleased with whatever comes out. But I don't see how something that doesn't dye your hair thoroughly and I have short hair as man, I used to have really long hair in college, but now it's cut short with long bangs hey I could use half of the bottle to get my hair but I go ahead and use as much as I can and let it sit extra time. Mainly cuz I have to clean up and then get a towel around my shoulder so I can sit and not stay in the couch or after putting Vaseline on my forehead and behind my ears and back of my neck to make sure that there's a barrier between the die and my skin it didn't stain my skin that would mean it was working really well but with the Vaseline there it doesn't usually happen like it used to with any product and this didn't bother to dye hair either.. I know it's just a few bucks maybe five some cases seven dollars difference to get something like splat brand if you want to get a metallic crazy color and I know they've got some tamer ones but I wanted metallic red and I got muted flat and then I don't know sort of a light magenta?

Faites attention ma boite m’a été livrée incomplète !!! sans le tube de coloration! J’ai perdu 20$, car l’article n’est pas remboursable. Je suis prise avec une boîte de teinture à cheveux inutilisable et sans avoir aucuns recours, c’est une vrai arnaque! C’est vraiment frustrant. Le sceau du dessus était intacte mais celui d’en dessous avait été coupé pour en retirer le tube!
