Finishing touches on my hot rod !

Bought for 1920 dodge model 30 roadster and it was far too big to fit to the back side of the suspension. It’s not top quality but it had a decent finished look that will need work to make it a complete addition. I may weld extension brackets to the frame to mount the radiator to the front of the suspension and then I’ll add photos. Wish I had not thrown it in my pile of parts so I could have returned it

Nice peice

There are grinding marks visible on it even though there are still long stainless splinters still on it with edges sharp enough to easily cut you. There is a large dent in both top and bottom and a ding on the side that is almost not noticeable because the metal has stamping ripples in it from stretching unevenly in the stamping mold. The face of the stainless is scuffed where it was slid around being assembled and the vertical bars are all wavy both side to side and in and out as if hand welded without a jig.

It would function but will need a lot of work if you are wanting a precise fit and look. Returned the one I bought due to the whole grill was covered in rust. The shell had damage as well and didn’t want to dump a ton of time into it to make it right.

Grill insert not the best. Poorly made. Grill shell is rough in places.

Decent stamp on the grille shell. Insert fits the opening but some of the bars are misshapen. I wouldn't use it on a $50K hot rod, perfect for a Rat or budget build.
