Dinosaur Train: Dinosaur A to Z on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Dinosaur Train: Dinosaur A to Z Review: This book is full of great dinosaur information! - My 3 year old grandson loves this book! So far he's learned the name of each dinosaur for each letter, where they lived (by looking at the continent) and if they were meat eaters or plant eaters. This book has great pictures, teaches which period each dinosaur lived and describes size and shape of them, plus other fun info. He's soaking this information up like a sponge! Fun Book! Review: We love this book - My 2 and 4 year olds love this book. It is a great way to learn the alphabet. I also like that every page has a map of the world on it and the continent where that dinosaur is from, so they can start learning geography at the same time! This book is also very well made and still looks brand new after having had it several months and looked at it many many times. Would recommend this book to anyone with kids that like the Dinosaur Train show.

Great book. Study board book with good information. Great for a range of ages.
My 4 year old is obsessed with Dinosaur Train. He loves this book and can tell me what each of the dinosaurs is and what they ate based on the pictures in the book. It's very sturdy and colorful. My 8 year old also likes to read the information in the book. My 4 year old loves the book and I'm glad I purchased it.

Alphabet and Dinosaurs - Great Fun for a Preschooler
Fun to see new dinosaur names that I don't already know. My 3 yo got this for his birthday. He loves dinosaurs and has many dino books. He truly enjoys this, and there are dinosaurs in here that we didn't already know. He also likes telling me which ones were guest characters on the Dinosaur Train show, which he loves. I usually just read the letter and the names. Then, he tells me what they eat. There are brief descriptions of each one too. It's only been 6 weeks, but we read it almost every day, and the book has no damage. (Sometimes board books don't fare so well around here.)

Good with a big caveat for little dino lovers
This is a very informative book with cute illustrations BUT I don’t love it. Why? Well the book has a letter of the alphabet and a dinosaur on each page. Great! The problem is that some pages have a character from the series as an additional example of the dinosaur and sometimes it is one of the ‘Pterodon Family’ members. This confuses the heck out of my 3 1/2 yo. He doesn’t understand why sometimes the picture is the the ’right’ dinosaur and sometimes not. Maybe not a big deal for an older kid who can already read?

Perfect for the Dinosaur Train Fan
My 4 year old daughter has been watching dinosaur train every day for almost 4 months now. So the book was a huge hit. It is a nice companion to the show, but might be difficult to understand or read if you don't watch the show. It was really exciting to watch her name some of the more obscure dinosaurs from sight. It is educational, well put together, and has great illustrations.

A (Apatosaurus!) plus book for your Dinosaur Train lover
My 3.5 year old LOVES Dinosaur Train on PBS. We save the most recent episodes on our TiVo and had to permanently save the 4 episodes that make up the Dinosaurs A to Z (Tiny's big idea!). My son has learned and remembered SO many dinosaur names from this show. He impresses everyone with his talk of the Pachycepholosaurus, for example. There is an adorable dinosaur A-Z song where they sing all the dino's names. It goes rather quickly, and with these long Dino names can be hard for the little ones to sing. As soon as I saw this book, I knew he had to have it. He now flips through it and follows the TV story at the same time. I've also seen him flipping through the book and singing the song to himself. Now, his 19 month old brother also reaches for this book often. Highly recommend as a companion to the show.

Couldn't be happier with this book.
My daughter loves dinosaurs and Dinosaur Train so I thought this would be the perfect book for her, and it is. It is very colorful and has some of her favorite dinosaurs in it. I love that they give you a few facts about each dinosaur and that they show you how to pronounce each dinosaur name. Great for any little book enthusiast or any child that loves dinosaurs.

My 3-year old son is dinosaur mad and loves the tv show Dinosaur Train, especially the episode that features the Dinosaur A to Z song, which this book is based on. He loves this book and takes it with him everywhere. It is a good-quality board book, with each page having a letter of the alphabet, along with a picture of a dinosaur whose name begins with that letter and some facts about the dinosaur, including where its fossils have been found. It is a fun way of learning and remembering the alphabet - my son can now recite the alphabet easily because of it.

My son is almost 3 - some of the information is a little too advanced for him but he loves dinosaurs and it is a book that can grow with him. Also, my husband gets to learn about dinosaurs too when he does the bedtime stories with him!
