Absolutely exquisite folio, the craftsmanship is gorgeous. I really splurged on this one hoping for a folio that would travel well- I’m pleased to say it’s light, luxury, and stunning handcrafted workmanship. The pen is also high quality and heavy- I plan to gift it to my son. This folio is a perfect gift for man or woman and comes beautifully packaged. When I opened the box I got to read about the company and they ethically source their leather, and donate 5% of their profit to charity on 5 continents. This kind of craftsmanship and care is rare in our world and I’ve already saved a wallet and a journal from them for gifts. The leather is high quality, suede-like without looking rustic. I’m a writer and hard on my folios- the stitching looks solid and like we’ll have years together. If this was in a Sundance catalogue it would be $300. This is one purchase you’ll be thrilled you made.

This thing is fantastic. It’s a decent leather!! Very sturdy!! Snaps are strong!! Holds a lot of files/notebooks/legal pads. It’s just a nice open space with a large fill capacity.

I ordered the brown leather portfolio to use as a case for my Kindle Scribe, with pockets for business cards and full letter size paper, so I can have a single item to carry around in business settings to take notes and carry content for networking. It's working quite well for that purpose. The leather is thick, high quality, with a rustic natural leather look and feel. That's what I was going for. There are some scuff marks, so it looks like every other real natural leather item I own. I already had a Fintie Slim Case for Kindle Scribe - [Built-in Pen Holder] Lightweight PU Leather Folio Cover, which was too small to carry around papers and my Kindle Scribe together. So I repurposed it within this leather portfolio. I cut of the front cover of the Fintie Slim Case, and mounted the back with pen holder to the inside of this leather portfolio. I used 3M VHB tape to mount the case. Then I found the small magnet in the Fintie front cover, and ripped it out. I used the tape to mount the magnet to the right place for the auto-off feature to work for my new setup.

Reasonable quality for the price. Nice size for documents and various things. Snaps are a little weak. Leather thickness is a good balance of thickness and weight. It's a little dry, so I'll apply some regular leather oil. The only complaint is that it smells bad; hopefully some time in the sun will help

I own several items from Moonster by now: a laptop bag, several refillable journals, and now this beauty. It is exactly as described, one big opening to hold a ton of stuff, unlined, no extra pockets or divisions, just one big opening. The snap closures work well . I looked at the bad reviews and realized that many people just don't read the description. To then knock an item is not fair. Moonster always uses top quality leather which will age with time and develop a lovely patina. Use leather conditioner every few months and don't leave it in the blazing sun, that dries out leather and makes it brittle. If you love it, it will love you back with decades of loyal service. That's why top grain leather is so much better than the manmade stuff that doesn't last. As for this bag, it is as plain and simple as it gets. And it is that simplicity that makes it perfect. I had a leather school bag when I was a kid, and this reminds me of that quality leather which used to be the norm. Wish I still had that bag, it was thick, velvety soft finished on the inside, heavy leather. It was beautiful.

This was a gift for my wife who does public speaking and needed something professional looking to keep her notes in. The leather and construction seems to be of a very high quality. It looks and feels rich. I would highly recommend this product.
