I was missing my Puffed Rice cereal after Quaker discontinued. As a member or WW, the Quaker brand was one point. It also came in a box which I could leave on a shelf lined up with my other cereals. This comes in a bag and I will transfer to one of my cereal holders. It is hard to pour from a bag and then I put the bag in a ziplock bag in case it reopens even though I have a clip saver on it. The cereal is very good with a nice crunch. Taste more like a mixture of Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat. I originally saw it from another vendor and started to order it but then I was going to be charged over $8.00 for shipping which is almost the same price as the two packages of cereal. I deleted that immediately and then I saw it was available from Prime. The price is still a bit steep for the amount you actually get so I doubt I will be getting this cereal and often.

Arrow Head Mills Puffed Rice. . . is something brand new in my life. I have learned a few things as time goes by like a lot of things change over time, which is not a surprised. The hopes is that things will only change better, but we don't really get that in life. One thing I hated to see happen was puffed rice I love disappearing from grocery shelves. Then I found it on Amazon, but then that too went away. What was left with was trying to just rely on other cereals I enjoyed to fill the void, but honestly there is something special about puffed rice. I ate it at my grand parents house for one. Where one puffed rice is gone now there is Arrowhead MIlls Puffed rice. I have just had my first bowl of it, and I am so glad that I gave it a try. It is simple. It is good. It is simply good. Honestly , even reading the back of the bag brought with it a taste of nostalgia. I am hoping that Arrowhead Mills Puffed Rice will remain a part of my life now that I've found it. I was so excited after my first bowl that I sent a couple bags as a gift. If any one reading this has also missed Puffed Rice then give this brand a try.

These taste very similar to honey smacks or sugar puffs, but without any sugar. My kids really love them! 4 stars is due to the price point. This is the cheapest I found online but if you can find them in a store they are usually cheaper. It's just really hard to find them in a store.

My father loves puffed rice so much, and I was so happy to find this. I’ve bought him more several times, but here I am to buy again and WOW - the price is outrageous. Like over quadruple what it used to be. Tariffs? Whatever it is, I’m priced out, and a simple pleasure has been taken from an 80 year old man’s life. If you can afford it, they’re a 5 out of 5.

We've not been able to get the puffed rice we always bought from Quaker, it's not on shelves anyplace that we've normally been able to get it. One of the workers at the grocery story said they can't get Quaker as they've had trouble at "the plant" and they are doing some remodeling or whatever... maybe in time we can get Quaker again but meanwhile, we're okay with this product. We've also used it as a treat for our little dog... he's only 7 lbs and he likes it too :-) It's a low cal treat for him lol... as long as he's happy and I know rice is okay for dogs. Anyway, we'll buy it again.
