when you say tool only on the paking list what do you mean?

Only the JIG which is required and a small case for it are included. As to not give people the wrong idea that other products such as a switch are included.

Will this work on the V2 switch?

No, because I'm pretty sure its patched...check ur serial number with the "is my switch patched app"

It works perfectly fine. It is not patched at all. It runs amazingly thanks to this little guy.

My jig isn’t working despite connecting to my PC and holding the volume + button and pressing power once. Why?

You need to get a program called TegraRcmGui so that if functions, and then inject a payload. Once you have that, simply place the jig into the right joycon with "ON" on the bottom, connect to PC, and hold Volume + down then hold Power until you see that the Switch has been detected.

FAKE It's a model of an rcm jig, not a real one

Well as I said, this model does not feature anything that would even be remotely able to boot a switch into rcm. Nothing that could ground any pins and its literally just an ugly piece of red plastic
