WD Western Digital 2TB 2.5" 128MB SATA III Hard Drive for Laptops, PS4 (WD20SPZX)

Most modern laptops no longer have a sata drive space, but since I keep using old laptops, these drives are the best way to add more storage to keep more files on the go. It is still relatively performant, and since the drive is thin, it fits in even the more modern slim bays.

So far it it's working just as I would expect it to. Increased the storage of my PS4 Pro console, and haven't had any issues with the installation of my games. Other reviews said it was faster and Quieter than their original hdd's.. Sadly that's not the case for mine, speed and noise level are the same as before the replacement.. so its not any better or worse. Just a nice storage upgrade is all you can expect from this drive. Is it worth the purchase? I'd say yes it is. So far I'm feeling satisfied with my decision to buy it.

I have mostly been buying toshiba drives but this one is nice and quiet (about the same noise level as toshiba) and twice as fast! I was super impressed with the speed. I have seen peaks of around 100 megabytes and sustained rates of 80 megabytes of both read and write. small and thin no problem fitting into my laptop. (keep in mind that many factors influence speed) I have had it for a few weeks now and no problems. tested it thoroughly before installing. only time will tell about it's durability, but I have external western digital drives that have lasted for many years, no reason to think that this one won't be just as durable. I will update this review if I encounter any problems. June 2022

I bought to fix my son's old PS4 for my nephew as a first gaming system. Took old SSD out and swapped the new in and he is playing it at this moment. Pretty simple to do and cheaper than buying a new system. Plus upgrades the storage space. It simple enough to DIY but if u have any trouble just look up a quick YouTube video

Western Digital, bought many IDE drives from them . For far more Cash and less storage capability and access. This 2 TB SATA is great and at affordable cost , and so far no issues with 2 that I purchased . Formatted NTFS. SSD:Storage/reliable/SSD capability , small form factor .

El disco duro funciona correctamente, no presentó ruidos extraños, y le quedó a la perfección a mi PS4, el empaquetado con el que vino está bastante bien ya que la caja venia con un envoltorio protector lo cual le ayudó al producto a no recibir ningún daño en el transporte, y revisándolo con Crystal Disk, el disco duro estaba completamente nuevo y era la primera vez que se utilizaba, lo probé también con Validrive y efectivamente cumple con los respectivos 2TB de almacenamiento, y eso es bastante bueno ya que cumple con lo que promete, lo que sí estoy de acuerdo con algunas reseñas de este producto es que la parte frontal en lugar de tener los stickers de WD que se ven en la publicación tiene un sticker completamente blanco y lo único que se parece en la imagen es el sticker en la parte de atrás del disco duro, pero para lo que lo voy a utilizar eso es una nimiedad debido a que prácticamente el disco duro permanecerá dentro de la consola y eso no afecta de ninguna manera al funcionamiento del disco, estoy bastante contento con la compra y su entrega fue bastante rápida, lo recomiendo si necesitas aumentar tu espacio, ya que los juegos de PS4 son bastante pesados.

Purchased to fix a PS4 for someone that was having issues as the hard drive in the unit they own died. This unit fit fine and works great, this review is several months after purchase and the drive is going strong. One side of this drive does have a blank white sticker, but the other has a proper label with the WD logo and model etc. on it. When placed in the bracket it is this way so that the information could be seen when installed in a PS4 so that worked out good.

So far, so good on these 2TB drives. I bought two because my two 1TB HDDs were getting close to capacity. The older 1TBs were 7200RPM and these are only 5400RPM but there hasn't been a very noticeable drop in performance. The 1TBs (which I still use) are Hitachi TravelStars made in Hitachi's Global Storage Technology facilities, which Hitachi acquired from IBM and they are first class facilities. WD has since acquired Hitachi and has folded all Hitachi's products under the WD label. If WD keeps to the same quality that Hitachi did, these should be fine drives that last quite a while. If not I will be editing this review. Note there are 4TB and 5TB HDDs in the 2.5 inch size but these are 15mm high and WILL NOT fit in any modern laptop, so 2TB is the highest capacity you can get for a laptop's internal dvive bays.

Produto funcionando perfeitamente, bem embalado.

My PS4 hard drive was showing early signs of failure (apparently that's a common issue of the console) so I replaced it with this one and it works wonderfully. Not only is it double the space of my old one but I swear it loads and downloads faster to. I've had it for a month or so and haven't hand any issues at all. Installing it was pretty easy. I just followed a how to video on YouTube.

Loving the extra space on my lap top. My only issue was it didn't automatically get found by windows. Had to go into windows settings to get it to find the new HDD. I would say that is a windows fault.

Bought this to replace the 1tb in my ps4 pro and it is working well. Super easy install

I bought this hard drive for my PS4 Pro, for standard delivery, it delivered to my door within 2 days, it fits perfectly in the console and the speed of downloads are faster and there is no lagging in any of the games. 5 stars.
