UPDATED: Dumped our old traditional non-stick pots and pans for this. Love these new ones!
Buying this set was more of a conscious decision to avoid cooking with pots and pans that were made with dangerous chemicals that pose a long-term health risk. I shopped around for what was the best bang for my buck and found these to best match that. From the get-go, the set was well packaged and they all had a sticker with best practice and cooking recommendations for how to best take care of this set for long-term use.I’ve been cooking with these for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for over a week now and have put them through their paces and I’m blown away at not only how much better the food cooks, but also at how easy it is to clean them. The surface allows for the cooking residue to be cleaned off very easily.Cooking-wise, after consistent uses, food has not stuck onto the surface and I haven’t pushed them past the recommended medium heat levels, but they’re still cooking just fine.I’ll update as I continue to use them, but I’m so happy with this investment!UPDATE 1: I’m a month in and have been using these daily. We’ve been keeping them at either medium heat or lower, never at higher temps. We use a small slab of butter to cook with and have used olive oil for some dishes. We use the soft side to a double sided Scrub Daddy to clean the whole pan with and zero issues whatsoever. No cracking or discoloration. Food cooks perfectly.UPDATE 2: We’re about 8 months into owning this set and still so far so good. The melamine sponge that it came with wore down long ago so we’ve used value brand ones to keep the exterior of the pans grease-free and still looking new. We’ve run into a few scrapes and scratches into the ceramic now - mostly due to complacency. Some recipes call for higher heat, so we’ve had to adjust with it. One thing is for sure - you need to be on top of cleaning these pots and pans to make them last.UPDATE 3: We’re a full year in and we’ve begun to see some significant wear and tear on the pans we use more often. We’ve become more lax with the heat, but still try to avoid pushing temps past medium. We have never stuck them in for the dishwasher, all hand washed. It still cooks great, looks great, and the melamine sponges are a must to keep the grease stains off both sides of the pots and pans. I would still greatly recommend these!UPDATE 4 (Final): We’re almost 2 years into owning these and these have held up very well. There’s some light scratching where we’ve used metal spatulas to pick up the food, but for the most part what we’ve come to learn is that you’ve got to really take care of them in the sink. We have never put them in the dishwasher, and continue the Scrub Daddy and melamine sponge regimen to keep them looking spiffy and the ceramic intact as possible. They’ve seen a lot of use over the years and we still 100% recommend them! Thanks again!

Great non-stick...buy the black set.
I was in need of a new pot and stopped at target one day and picked up the 2 quart sauce pan about 2 years ago. I was really pleased with it. After 2 years, it has a couple marks on the inside from constant use. I always handwash my pots and use silicone utensils. They clean up really easily with just a sponge. I have never had anything stick to them at all. I have researched so many sets of cookware over the last year because I really wanted a new set. I got a stainless steal,, copper bottomed set,, but they aren't built like they used to be and you have to be sovigilant so that nothing sticks. There are so many negative reviews on every single set. I was willing to spend a thousand dollars or more if I could find a life time set, but even the expensive brands had reviews that said they didn't last. I really like nonstick...I know it doesn't last forever. There are complaints about the colored sets of these so I probably wouldn't buy a colored set but the black pot I bought 2 years ago looks almost brand new on the outside. The pot is black on the entire outside surface and so it never stains or fades!!! I have a pot rack so they look fantastic. I know it will probably only last 5 years or so due to the nonstick, but for a little over $100 I think it is a good deal.It comes with a 2 quart small saute pan, which I never had in my collection before and I use it so much for side dishes and veggies. It is a perfect size. The set comes with e frying pans and I didn't read the sizes very well...the smallest one is very tiny to cook like one egg in it. I haven't used it yet. The 1 quart pot curves in towards the bottom so the cooking surface is small so really holds nothing more than a can of soup or a sauce. I prefer a squared off bottom but i will use the larger pans more anyway and they sell the 2 quart separate so i can buy another if I need to. I like having a large pan as well so I bought a 5 quart saute pan from the same collection, for $44, separately and use it for large main dishes or bacon. They conduct heat well. I have an electric stove. and never turn it up over medium high, usually I cook on a medium heat, even to boil. The pics are of the new set and the 2 year old pot inside and out.Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. I would prefer the 1 quart to have squared bottom and to receive frying pans that are 8 inch, 10, and 12...rather than 5, 8, and 10. Otherwise it's perfect.

I’m glad I bought them
These pans work great and clean up easily. I have used non-stick pans with Teflon coating for many years. The coating scratches and eventually starts coming off. I wanted a change. Here’s what to know: Thr pans are light weight to me. Follow the instructions that come with the pans!!! I preheat the pans on low heat for 90 seconds, add some Olive Oil, turn the heat up very slightly and add the food. You can cook things in these pans at a lower temp but it may take a little longer. I love them and the pans have been washed by hand and in the dishwasher. So far so good. Handwashing is a better method with a delicate texture sponge. I also use a protective cloth between them while storing to prevent scratches. If anything changes I will update my review.

I like them but is a bit damaged, you should check your products before selling to a costumer
I was about to used one of the pan’s and I notice it was peel of , is not too much but it bothers me because when I buy something I wanted to be perfect. So if I send it back it is going to take to long to come and send it . I’m going to keep it but I’m a little bit dissatisfied with the product just because of that and I have to check if the other ones are how I expected them to be . The set it is very pretty though.

Good pans but buy new!!
I bought the opened box because I've had good experience with that before - in this case however it was very weird. Two of the pans were very used....significant scratches on the bottom. Also the pans were different colors, most of them were blue, two were black. I ordered black. The set was missing a lid. I would say that they are very good pans and I still enjoy using them just do not buy the opened boxes because as good as the pans are I was not happy with having a mismatched set! I would not have ordered if I had known it would be an incomplete set or filled in with different colored pans.

Health Begins at the Stove: My Honest Take on Green Pan Cookware
Health is one of our most valuable assets. I believe that I should always do what I do in the best and cleanest way possible. I have also come to believe that I should use the best equipment for my cooking.Healthy cooking is not limited to food, cooking tools are also an important part of it. The most important thing for me is a really, really good cookware set that has all the standard global items, so after a lot of research, I found that Green Pan cookware has all the items I want.Even heat distribution also leads to uniform cooking and a pleasant color of food, and it allows you to work with low to medium heat easily. In addition to all this, it has a wonderful non-stick feature that makes washing dishes easy. This is not an advertisement, it is a belief that I have come to. If you value the health of yourself and your loved ones, this is the best choice for you. The different sizes of this package make it stand out. And I am really happy with this choice.

Love the pans but can't buy favorite pans separate from set
I bought this set nearly 3 years ago. I love how easy it is to cook with, non-stick and won't scratch if you're careful with them. I use a silicon spatula with them for best results. My favorite piece is the 2.8 quart saute pan with lid. I use it so much that I'm constantly washing it to use it again. I also love that the stainless steel steamer fits perfectly in this pan with the lid on. The glass lids are fantastic for monitoring the cooking. My only disappointment is that when I went to buy 2 more of the 2.8 quart saute pans, I couldn't find them for separate sale. I contacted GreenPan directly and was told they can't break the 16 piece set and sell items separately.Has anyone else had this frustration? You buy a big set and find you have favorite pieces you use all the time and then when you want to buy more of those items, you can't unless you buy the whole set? I'm very disappointed with the company on that point.

Get them when discounted
Bought it in early September (late November now). They used to be totally non-stick, now they require a little oil (like the tiniest drop) According to google, their shelf life is 2-5 years but bear in mind I use them DAILY because they’re my only set 😂 Still so happy with them and not having to worry about teflon and toxins seeping into food even though they’re less-stick and not non-stick. No discoloration or chipping so far. Got them on a really nice discount and definitely would recommend.

Li ricomprerei sempre
