100% Raw Edible Honeycomb by Pure Southern Honey (14 Ounce (Pack of 1))

I love honeycomb. This one is excellent! Great flavor, oozing with honey, not dried out anywhere. And it’s from the USA not Turkey, Hungary, Argentina.

This 3rd brand of honeycomb purchased thru Amazon this winter is by far the richest in taste. Others might disagree but I see jarred honey as a utilitarian sweetener, whereas honeycomb is a delicacy meant to be savored for it's flavor notes like a fine wine. The other two are Italian and Turkish, they were more similar to each other than to this one. Both being light, sweet and delicious. The Pure Southern is darker, more complex and satisfying in a way that didn't seem to trigger that "Take another spoonful now" sensation. The shipping was almost overkill boxed and bubble-wrapped; yes there was some takiness between the shrinkwrap and container, but hey it's honey.

Honey this tasty is a rare find, and this price point is very reasonable. First time customer, but definitely not my last time!

The flavor of this honey and honeycomb is very nice -- a lovely floral essence. The product was much too light, however. It is advertised as 14 oz. The package I received was only 7 oz., including the weight of the plastic box. Perhaps half the honey leaked out in shipping, but it was disappointing to be so far from the advertised weight.

I fell in love with raw honeycomb after getting some at a NY farm, it was delectable ! Once I finished it, I had to find a way to get some more so I ran to amazon. i tried to look super carefully at each option, company, etc. this was the one that most closely resembled the packaging of the honeycomb i had just finished. i was sooo excited for it to come, and when it did i opened it up and tried it right away. to my surprise, it was not even comparable to the farm-bought honeycomb. it has a veryyy strange aftertaste that makes it taste like something is in it that isn’t supposed to be ? i don’t know but it doesn’t taste like any honey i have ever tasted before. i unfortunately can’t see any use for it since the taste is simply unpleasant; i even considered using it for tea, but don’t want to risk it ruining the taste. very disappointing since i obviously can’t return it. surprised with all the high reviews too, of course there will be quality differences with farm bought vs. shipped over, but now i am worried to try to order honeycomb from any company. i unfortunately threw out the first one i got before i could get the company name :(. this was basically just a waste of $.

I didn’t like the after taste. Kinda reminds of how a cow barn smells. Just not for me. Texture was fine.

FANTASTIC, I have loved and eaten honey for years especially with the wax. The plastic container makes it perfect for carrying with me when I'm working in the field with military and I need a snack. Thanks for the great honey and fast shipping. PS Tell the Bees thanks also!!!

Honey quality: Amazing! I am very picky when it comes to honey and honestly spend too much $ trying to find one I like. This Honeycomb tasted phenomenal, packaging was amazing you can tell they take pride in their products.. Of course it had some leakage but, nothing to notice within its container. It came in a medium sized box, inside that medium box was full of bubble wrap and a smaller package, all were sealed. Amazing product will definitely be buying again!!
