I'm about 50 pages into the first side (there's TWO books), and I LOVE IT. I just got done buying a copy for my team of 1, and plan to give my copy to my boss when I'm done. You just can't overstate how useful the modern layout of this book is. My anxiety stays near the red zone, so even knowing I have a book i need to finish can tense my muscles, but not this one. The layout REALLY makes it low-pressure. It's designed so you can pick it up, open to a random page, and gleam a useful insight. It's packed with ideas to get your team moving, regardless of your industry. I look forward to reading a few pages every evening as I wind down, instead of boredom shopping on desertcart. 🤣 I've included some pics to illustrate what you can expect when you flip to random pages. Review: Everyone can see in the Future, if they want to. . . - Create the Future, Tactics for Disruptive Thinking, arrived just in time. As the sports events world, shut down in a period of 48 hours, the highly engaging format gives the reader multiple ways to engage with the content. As well, the distinct visual layout is packaged with valuable data points on both current and future trending. The extra bonus of Jeremy's previous best selling "Exploiting Chaos" is just icing on the cake. I can continue to browse/read and take vicious notes on these observations for a few weeks while Jonesing on no sports programming. I got two copies, one to scribble my observations and notes, and the other one to add to my bookshelf. I've been to three Trend Hunter events, including the 2018 Toronto 3-day event, and can tell you this book is a living embodiment of the Trend Hunter team's philosophy and unique view of our future. Pick it up today. Thanks Jeremy, and the Trend Hunter team, for helping all of your readers to become futurists in their own right.

Interesting easy read without much depth
I wanted to like this 2-in-1 book. The graphical layout is great, the anecdotes are interesting, and the workshop questions and exercises seem like many could prompt useful discussion. But most of the tactics for discovering opportunity in Create the Future are generic platitudes (e.g. be curious, embrace diversity, invest in new opportunity, put the customer first, push harder, never give up, fail faster etc.), and some of the patterns/trends in The Innovation Handbook seem too general to provide much help (e.g. Simplicity, Convergence, Divergence, Redirection etc.). This book might provide some useful tips and could motivate a team which has no prior experience at innovation, but I doubt it will help someone who is already motivated and struggling to find an innovation or new opportunity to help their business. For the latter case, I suspect you would be better off increasing your exposure to new ideas through travel, volunteer work and networking.

A fascinating guide to curating great ideas ... and acting on them.
I believe trend spotting is a myth. As someone who writes about trends myself, I know that too often the things people describe as trends are somewhat useless and perfectly obvious observations instead. Yes, I suppose I'm something of a trend snob ... which usually makes me a harsh critic of any book on trends. This book, however, is not like others. The author has amassed an army of smart idea spotters across the world whose collective ability to find non-obvious stories is world class. In this book, you'll not only read some of them - but you will learn a method for turning all these anecdotes into disruptive ideas that can change your business or your career. Creating the future is a tall order for a book. This one, however, just might help you do it.

The most practical and informative books for developing an innovative culture in your organization
This book was one of the most thoughtfully written and designed titles I have read in this topic area. All in all, it is hard to find a great book that demonstrates both subject-matter expertise and practical applications of an array of concepts for an organizations. As an innovator in teaching and learning, I value a book that is talk and action—and Jeremy exceeded my expectations by packaging exceptional case studies with critical guiding questions and activities crafted with substantive, scholarly frameworks. I am looking forward to using this strong foundation for innovation with my group!

A Great Tool To Get A Look Behind The Curtain Of Future Trends
Filled with insightful information about the trends that will define and change our social, economic and environmental future. The stories connect with the challenges an entrepreneur will face particularly in these challenging times. Jeremy provides not only insight about future trends but is also able to remind you that the best opportunities are in the fringes. Read, digest and create the future you desire. This book is a great tool to get a look behind the curtain of future trends.

Standout book and form factor
The ideas, content, writing are of course first rate; no surprise there. What's surprising is the extent to which I enjoyed the physical book itself. It somehow adds weight and realness to the creative ideas sparked in multitude.

This book is amazing, really incredible insights for a quickly changing business landscape. This book is written in a way that allows you to read both cover to cover or be able to pick up turn to a headline and get actionable exercises. If you want to look for a playbook to get your team to look outside the box or you want to encourage your own disruptive thinking I can’t recommend this book enough.

To much of copy-paste from his book on chaos and obsolete exemple (corona, Intel) but a grat visual book for beginners in the innovation world

Es un libro muy explícito, pero sobre todo con metodología practica para quienes quieran marcar una diferencia en su industria. Además, su narrativa es muy entretenida haciendo amena la lectura.
