13 episodes of the CGI-animated series which follows the heroics of the Tracy family as they try to save the world with their secret organisation International Rescue. An Australian verson of the old Gerry Anderson series, this series delivers, new versions of the craft, the cast, but still some old favorate voice talent. Then there is the base itself, shades of the live action picture a few years back, but each launch bay has incredible detail, and simply fantastic equipment. I recommend this series to all. Be aware, this series comes on a Region 2 disc. It will only play on a multi-region DVD player . They are available through Amazon and not that expensive either.( mine ran under $100.)

Plays perfectly on my USA Oppo multi-region Blu-ray/DVD player. A great show! If you liked the original, you should enjoy this. Was a big hit with the neighborhood kids. Adults like it too.

Saison 1 - épisodes 14 à 26 Audio Anglais - Sous titres uniquement Anglais
Ce coffret de 2 DVD correspond à la saison 1 ; épisodes 14 à 26 (d’où l’inscription « volume 2 - 13 épisodes » inscrit en bas du coffret). Audio en Anglais, sous-titre uniquement en anglais. Une bonne occasion d’apprendre cette langue. La saison 1 existe en version française (télé) mais je ne l’ai pas trouvé en DVD… En même temps écouter : «Thunderbirds are (is) go ! » rend beaucoup mieux que « Thunderbirds paré ! » Aucun bonus, menu 3 options : lecture de tous les épisodes, lecture par épisode, setup pour le réglage du sous-titre et c’est tout… Concernant les épisodes, pas déçu si ce n’est qu’on voudrait que les épisodes durent plus longtemps... New take on a classic childrens story...

it's better than the first series
Well, I got my wish - more Kayo & Thunderbird S! That's some machine Kayo has there, I'm sure Derek Meddings would be proud! :) So, series 2 - in some way I can't quite define, it's better than the first series. Characterisation is still as important as the hardware, of course, and some old favourites (such as Gladys!) are back. The episodes seem to flow better - still fast-paced, but not breakneck speed. Speaking of recurring characters, I don't think we've heard the last of the Hood - or whoever he's working for. Apparently he's Agent 79...which implies 78 other Agents, of course. What he says to Colonel Casey in 'Legacy' definitely implies at least a third season - YAY!

F.A.B.ULOUS !
F.A.B. Thunderbirds Are Go for another exciting series. We are loving this new season of Thunderbirds stories. In my opinion this is even better than the first series, and that was excellent. The quality of the animation and storylines is superb. New character Kayo finally gets some stories that feature her and the amazing new Thunderbird "S". This amazing DVD is a must buy for any Thunderbirds fan.
