There are a lot of reviews that state that they fall down in the wind. I can confirm they will fall over in the wind... if you DON'T SET IT UP CORRECTLY. You just need to fill the sandbags and once you've done that, double it. The instructions literally tell you to fill the sandbags so they're overflowing. Once everything is well tensioned it's great. I used mine on a breezy day and it was awesome. However, I'm not saying it's going to stand up to high winds, after all look at it! It's literally a piece of lycra with two poles and some guy lines; why on earth would you think this thing is going to be like a mountain tent?! If you you're expecting to be on the beach in high winds get a family tent or quite honestly do a better job of setting this shelter up, point the slope of it into the wind or something. - Fin

Articolo pessimo, durato meno di un mese. Usato sulla spiaggia di Puglia questa estate. Il tessuto si è sgranato ovunque con il vento e il sole e ancora di più agli angoli nei punti di tensione. Dopo meno di un mese si è completamente stracciato. Ricucito, ma impossibile che tenga perché il tessuto è troppo sgranato e perde delle piccole particelle bianche come fosse polvere, dannose da respirare Article médiocre, a duré moins d'un mois. Utilisé sur la plage des Pouilles cet été. Le tissu s'est froissé partout sous l'effet du vent et du soleil et encore plus dans les coins aux points de tension. Après moins d'un mois, il était complètement déchiré. Recousu, mais impossible à tenir car le tissu est trop granuleux et perd de petites particules blanches comme de la poussière, nocives pour la respiration. Lousy item, lasted less than a month. Used on the beach in Puglia this summer. The fabric wrinkled everywhere in the wind and sun and even more so at the corners at the tension points. After less than a month it was completely torn. Stitched up, but impossible for it to hold because the fabric is too wispy and leaks tiny white particles like it was dust, harmful to breathe

This is big and takes up a lot of space on the beach. It's only my wife and I and I sometimes feel guilty about taking so much space for just the two of us. I would've probably purchased the next smaller size. I did order two extra poles. I usually put all for towards the front. Two on each side which provides great wind protection. I recommend getting a sand scoop. I wish it blocked even more of the sun but it seems all these shades provide about the same upf protection. First complaint is the carry bag strap is pulling off the bag on both ends. Soon, the strap will completely separate from the bag itself so I'll need to purchase a duffle bag to carry the shade and poles. Second complaint is that you must have the open end into the wind for the most stable setup. If the wind isn't coming off the ocean, then it makes the sunshade less useful.
