They work well for me. Very comfortable, easy to insert. Reasonable price. The positive reviews on these convinced me to give them a try. I used them at band rehearsal with the maximum filters. We play loud. I was amazed at how well they blocked out the volume of the instruments. Almost too much! The best result was that the plugs help me to hear my vocals in my head so I can control my pitch. Which has been a lifetime battle for me, LOL!

I use these Alpine MusicSafe Pro earplugs when I’m banging away on my dhol during practice sessions up in the attic—which, trust me, is loud enough to wake the neighbors and maybe a few stray cats. (still experiencing/testing) Otherwise I've not heard complaints from the sound sensitive GF I bought this for. So far she is enjoying it and how it helps her from being overwhelmed due to disabilities n brain trauma that have induced sensitivity. Overall I am pleased by the case, optional rope to hold onto both left and right plug, 1 additional spare plug, and the design choice enabling different levels of reduction! Again, 4 stars because it cannot be perfect in every situation. A different brand introduce the challenge in some situations with hearing vocals at a concert. Disclaimer - haven't seen if these behave different but looking forward to sharing it later!

Good fit, work well, love the carrying case that comes with it

I am an audiophile and was looking to protect my ears at concerts. When I used them, I noticed the different filters changed the sound and I could not find a filter that I liked. Works well to protect hearing, but did not meet my expectations.

I've been searching for an earplug for the right ear as a flute player to protect my hearing, especially on higher notes. The Etymotic ES20s are decent, but dulls the lower range a bit too much, making me lose a lot of the subtlety in hearing the overtones. The white ones (16 NRR - lowest one) for this set of ear plugs let in the low notes almost like I wasn't wearing the plugs, and lowers the volume of the high notes without removing any of the overtones. It's quite amazing when comparing with the Etymotics. Even the grey one (19 NRR - medium one) lets in more subtlety with similar volume reduction as the Etyomtics. Finally, having 3 silicone ear plugs where I can attach any of the 3 noise reduction "stems" means I can have all 3 levels in my container, and swap in whatever I need in my right ear depending on the situation. The performance and flexibility of these ear plugs just can't be beat! Oh, and it's also much shorter and hidden than the Etymotics. :)

Fit perfect, are comfortable and you can select the level of noise reduction by inserting the color-coded baffles. Nice storage case too!

Worked really well, there’s a clear difference in the levels/colors. I was at a very loud rock concert in a small venue, and I started off with the medium (silver) and eventually switched to the maximum reduction (gold). I’m glad I did. In the time it took me to put them on and switch them out, I was already experiencing discomfort. The earplugs allowed me to enjoy the music without missing out on the full sound. I don’t know how these compare to standard solid earplugs, but I don’t think much fidelity was lost with these. Some reviews complain about the case, you have to order the MusicSafe Pro, not just the standard MusicSafe, to get the sturdier zip case instead of the cheaper soft bag. The bottle of cleaning solution doesn’t fit in the case, it would be nice if it did.

I bought these for ear protection while riding my motorbike. They’re compact, comfortable, and effective. I did 4.5hrs of highway and country roads today and they were great. The tether and case are handy features too.
