The Missing Link Senior Powder Supplement for Aging & Elderly Dogs

I was worried about the flavor because my senior shihtzu is so picky. Its hard to find supplements that he will take. However, I make his food from scratch and I add this on right before I feed him and he devours it. He barely has any teeth left so I appreciate that its a powder. The scent isnt bad to me and since he gobbles it up I think it must be pleasant to him. Since I switched to this supplement he has seemed to have a little more energy and he walks a little easier in his hind hips.

Tried this after going through a whole container of the senior advanced Mobility Bites with my 8 year old Eskimo/Lab mix. I did not really notice a difference with the mobility bites after a month but it had great reviews so I figured it would be worth a shot. I needed to try something because I noticed she wasn’t coming up to the 2nd floor nearly as much anymore and would even cry at the bottom of the stairs sometimes to the point where she was only coming up at night for bed and needing a lot of encouragement to do so. She also needed help getting up into my bed too. She’d get her upper body up but look at me for help to lift her lower half. I was told she had osteoarthritis in her hips at her last check up and so I immediately started researching relief aids/preventative measures from supplements to raised food bowls etc. After starting her on Missing Link Senior, I noticed her coming up the stairs more about a month and a half in. Within 2 months she no longer cried to come up steps and did so with ease. Now we’re at 4 months of this everyday with her breakfast and she does stairs several times a day, gets up into bed all by herself and definitely noticing more pep in her step overall. I am very active and she has been my partner in crime on hikes and long walks along with my other 2 dogs. She’s been very active her whole life. This is a staple in her diet now. It’s cheaper than the mobility bites and has a ton of other benefits than just helping with hip and joint problems. My only regret is not buying this sooner. I give it to my 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix hoping I’ll prevent potential joint problems with him later in life. He’s not a senior but there is nothing in this blend that he wouldn’t benefit from. I just mix it in their food and haven’t had any issues with them not liking it. I also have a 7 month old Canucu and will be looking into puppy blends for her from this Brand.

The Missing Link Senior Dog Supplement has made a noticeable difference in my dogs’ quality of life. I’ve been feeding this supplement to all of my pets for years, and the results have been consistently impressive. I have small dogs, and it’s especially easy to notice when they miss a serving. Without it, they seem less comfortable and have a harder time doing simple things like jumping up into my lap. If they stay on it consistently, there’s a clear improvement—they jump up without hesitation, move around more easily, and seem more active and energetic overall. For us, this supplement has become part of their daily routine because of the difference we see in their mobility and comfort. Every dog is different, but in our experience, it has helped support a better quality of life as they’ve gotten older.

This stuff is great! I have a larger nearly 15-year-old Boxer/Akita mix and I could tell within the first month of use that it was helping for stiffness and coat health. He seems to enjoy the taste.

Purchased as an all around addition to my senior dog's (8 and 13 yo) diet. I do wish it was a bit more kelp based than Flax based, but both dogs seem to enjoy it. I used to use a similar product from a different brand but wanted something with more all around support so I didn't have to use a ton of different supplements, and this ticks most of the boxes. My biggest gripe is there is no scoop. You can use a standard measurement spoon, but as far as a product specific scoop, there is none.

My breeder recommended this product. I’ve been giving it to all three of my miniature American shepherds and they’ve had no problems for several years. Even my old dogs look like younger dogs than they are and we’ve had no hip problems because of this supplementation.. I would highly recommend this to anyone because it’s a cheap way to keep your dogs joints flexible into their senior years.

My vet referred us to add to our 80 lb German Shepherds' food, for her joints. She has it added to both her breakfast & dinner meals. Her coat is beautiful, too!

I am giving the Missing Link Senior Dog Supplement to my 2, 12 year old, female Pitbulls. We live on a farm where the dogs have plenty of places to run. The larger of my 2 dogs still has the energy of a six year old and the ability to do what we call “bowling for chickens”. She stands at one end of the barn and runs as fast as she can all the way to the other end to make the chickens fly out of her way. She walks with me along the fence line which encloses 10 acres. She has no limps or signs of arthritis. The smaller dog is my princess. She prefers to spend her hours in the house. Just like the aforementioned dog, she came to us as a rescue. She was a bait dog from a Pitbull fighting ring. They told us that she spent most of her young life in a cage that was too small for her which caused her legs to be malformed. We were told she would probably have to have surgery to straighten her legs. 9 years later, she has never had surgery. Her legs straightened out on their own. She shows no difficulty going up and down steps. I am sold on all the Missing Link products. The Senior has kept my Itty Bitty Pitty girls in great shape.

Like new my dog like it so that means it does not taste at all like medication :)
