It’s a well built tool so is quite heavy. A belt pouch is provided which is the best way of carrying it. An excellent bit of kit, highly recommended.

does the flint fit into the knife or is it seperate

The flint fits into the handle of the knife, kind of built in at the bottom for it to slide into. If buying watch out, it comes Razor sharp. Good luck.

How does the flint work?

Good question. It is full removable from the grip. Mine was held in securely, held by a notch, had to figure to pull it away before pulling it. It'll spark of hard surfaces, there are places on the tool to spark it off too.
