Neutrik NP2RX-AU-SILENT Right Angle Phone Plug with Gold Contacts and Red Shell

I bought this to replace a standard right angle connector on one of my existing bass guitar cables. This connector is a must-have if you have a tendency to change instruments without turning down the volume on your amp. There are downloadable assembly instructions on the Neutrik website which are very helpful. A little expensive but worth it. If you are ok at soldering, you will be more than ok with this one.

It is the original Neutrik silent plug in a right angle shape. Very easy to install using equipment that you can buy at the hardware store. A good way to convert your normal cable so it doesn't make those static noises when plugging and unplugging from the instrument.

There’s nothing I can or want to do to put these parts together as an adapter. I didn’t know it would come in parts. Not what I want it.

Good product

I bought this to replace a straight Neutrik on a mogami cable. I was a little hesitant to cut the cable so I removed the straight plug and desoldered it. Uses the same strain relief boot. I left the boot in place and didn't really have to size the lead wires much. Quick soldering and assembly was super easy. Very happy I got this one.

You need to have soldering knowledge. Easy to modify an instrument cable. There's a spring loaded sleeve, when the cable isn't plugged in, you won't hear noise. Great for switching instruments, and zero noise. I'm impressed.
