Fulgrim: The Horus Heresy, Book 5

Not much to say, making my way through the Horus Heresy. Same event from different perspectives paints an amazingly grimdark picture!

One of my favorite Horus Heresy books. Fulgrim’s fall is quite tragic.

In the battle between good and evil, I prefer that good wins. The demons of the warp are taking over.

Best HH book so far

I would recommend it to anyone trying to understand the 40k universe and the emperor's children and their tragic fall

The Fall of the Emperor’s Children should a be a tragedy of a Primarch fooled by dark powers. But Fulgrim had hundreds of chances to turn back. Overall the book provided a strong overview of the fall of the Legion to chaos but I felt that Fulgrim’s character could have been handled better. His lack of introspection of a new voice in his head after hundreds of years of life just baffles me. Clearly this is the power of chaos and it’s influence but there are ways to use this story telling device without making Fulgrim appear stupid in my opinion.

This book started slow but built up into a solid foundation of chaos that dives into the changes of a god. It is perfection.

It's fine, you can read this and get a few hours of entertainment from it. While not as bad as entries like nemesis and mortis from the sige of terra, this novel suffers from the fate of the main character being known in advance.

Good book I'm not a fan of the emperors children or their primarch they just seem like spoilt brats that think they are perfect but all in all its a good book and the last few chapters progress the main story line too so I'd recommend reading book one through five before skipping around.

Finished reading the book a few days ago. I did enjoy it.

Bit of a slow a start but the second half of it wow amazing book. Really enjoyed it, onto the next one!

Sono ormai un appassionato di questa saga dell’Eresia di Horus. L’inizio di Fulgrim, dall’inizio della sua decadenza o sua ascesa, a seconda di come lo si odi o lo si ami. Inizia il tutto dal Sistema Laer dal pianeta Atoll 19. Fenomenale!

Una historia increíble, y el personaje de Fulgrim el mejor. Libro 100% recomendable aunque no hayas leído la herejía.
