FREEKey System The FreeKey System is designed for you to group your keys so you can have easier access should you need to detach them, e.g. house keys, car keys, work keys, etc. Review: The Gold Standard for Key Rings! Five Stars โ Final Answer :-) - First bought my Free Key Ring set back in early 2017 when I first came across it in desertcart.com. I was immediately attracted to the design concept, material used, and the fact that it was U.S.-of-A. made. The Free Key Ring proved to be everything as described. Getting keys in and out was a cinch, and It has a quality look and feel to it. I have since bought additional sets to give out as gifts to family and friends who have been as delighted as I am. I also found out that the Free Key Ring use was not exclusive to keys. My wife bought a beautiful stainless steel measuring spoons set that was held together by a not-so-beautiful and not stainless steel ring that became totally rusted out after a short period of time. Free Key Ring to the rescue (see photo). The Free Key Ring has held those beautiful measuring spoons together throughout time, and many trips to the dishwater. Rust just doesnโt live here :-) And Iโm looking for other applications for the Free Key Ring. Suggestions welcomed. Highly recommend this product. Review: Nice Add-on to the FreeKey System - I don't really need these, but would be great for some individuals, like if you have a lot of keys or want to keep certain keys separate & easy to remove. However, the FreeKey System is made to make putting keys on & taking them off quick & easy, so adding these would just be based on personal keyring preferrence(s). They are nicely made & likely to last a long time, but still, at $14.98? Overpriced in my book.

Nice Add-on to the FreeKey System

Ease, convenience & security
A godsend to my nails, and great to use. The easy-open ring makes arranging keys so much easier, and no more drama about taking keys on or off your ring since it is so easy. The smaller rings are great for organisation & felxibility, especially as it is so easy to use the main keyring. I'm changing all my keychains to this; it is more secure than other "easy" keyrings & the little rings give me flexibility to not have to have a huge jumble of keys with me all the time.

Save your fingers, get the FreeKey
Got this for me and my wife to easily change keys around and add more keys. Most keys will either not fit or not fit very well over the primary ring, but will fit perfectly on the smaller rings. The smaller rings make it easier to organize your keys also. I have house keys on one, car keys on another and miscellaneous keys on a third ring. This makes it easy to just pull the section off that I need if someone needs to borrow them. They fit in my pocket very well. I was afraid they were going to add bulk because of the shape, but there doesn't seem to be any real difference. Definitely takes an annoyingly hard task of getting keys off and tearing your nails up and makes it fast and easy. It easily allows you to attach / remove a key by just squeezing it in on the indicated "unlocking" spot as you can see in the pictures.

Not a game changer...the "neat" system for saving nails yes and no...
Not sure what I was expecting, I think something amazing for a tiny price considering I never actually paid for a plain old key ring in my life. Essentially as many have noted, this is one slightly larger ring with four smaller rings attached. The claim to fame is the "innovative" way that it has a "bump" that allows you to press on the ring and expand it on the end so you don't need to crack and tear a fingernail trying to add or remove keys. The pro on that is the idea actually works, without doing a video it is hard to just explain but the larger ring does have this feature so you can squeeze it and slide the smaller rings on it without damaging your fingernails. It is pretty neat. But the downside, the smaller rings (where you actually put the keys) don't have that feature. The design would make it hard on the smaller rings so actually adding keys requires you to...damage your fingernails. Now the plus is, if you use the rings to section your keys so that they are on the little rings in a logical way it still has a useful purpose. For example, if you put just the car key on one small ring, then when you use valet or drop your car at the shop you can remove and reattach the key using the smaller ring and use the handy squeeze technique as intended. But if you say use these as I think many would by putting say your house and car keys on one, work keys on another and little store fobs on another then it defeats the purpose because you are handing your house keys to the valet or auto shop unless you work it off the small ring. I purchased 2 sets for about $14. and planned to upgrade both my and my wife's key rings. It did work for me. Mine is now far less bulky using this but more so because I just couldn't remember what the heck a bunch of keys were for so they are now in a drawer and my key ring is a lot lighter. On the other hand, I thought my wife would want a small key ring. I will never fully understand women, I guess I shouldn't try. Seems she uses a large carabineer and the clip allows her to more easily find her keys in a (very) large purse. So I give this between three and four stars. Decent, but a medium step up form a free key ring. Not a game changer in book.

Find something else
The product itself is made well. The problem, as others have posted, it's too wide and it's difficult to put more then a few keys before you start binding. Even a couple of my keys with large openings were an issue. I also was hopeing to use the smaller rings for a usb drive. That proved to be a failure for me as well. Only purchase this item if you only have about four keys with wide openings for the ring.

Functional, but klunky
The largest ring is pretty wide, and won't fit on my quick disconnect. It still works (using one of the smaller rings), but that makes it more clunky.

Great Split Ring for Keys!
I like the feel and look of these key rings a lot. I have two--one for my home keys and one for my work keys which I keep on KeyBak retractor. I never really take keys off or add new ones, so that feature isn't really that useful, although it does work well. Really, I just like the shape and feel of them. These are things I carry every single time I leave the house, so, it's nice when I enjoy using them or looking at them, and for some reason, I really like the freekey system. I epsecially like the little split rings that come with it--they're just the right shape. I can fit four keys comfortably on one of those split rings, which is perfect. I can't imagine having each key on it's own little ring--what a mess!! It's the perfect size to fit through the grommet on my Trayvax wallet, and to fit through the eyelet on my key-retractor. I really don't use it for its intended purpose, I just like it. So, this really didn't revolutionize my keys, or the way I use keys. Ask yourself--how often do you have to remove a key from your keyring? If it's a couple times per year, this isn't going to change anything for you. It didn't change anything for me, either. I just like it.
