Super handy device. Much easier and faster than trying to transfer photos from my phone to my computer via a data USB cord which is quite slow and cumbersome. This is also tiny and easy to keep with you. At 256 GB this will hold a lot of photos and videos and makes it easy to share, copy, save to computer, or just store your photos so they aren't filling up your phone storage. I've always had good luck with SanDisk products and most all of my flash drives, cards, and readers are SanDisk. This is very sturdy, well made, and the spinning cover is perfect for protecting the end and easy to switch between the C and the A USBs. Well worth the price.

Needed a large enough USB storage device that would work both as an OTG device for backing up phone data off multiple devices, but also on standard PC's if necessary. This was the perfect choice. On one end is USB-C male connector, which actually has a longer metal plug. This make it easier to fit the USB-C port on the phone without taking off the phone case. The other end is a standard USB-A male connector that is also longer and can be inserted into recessed ports on a PC or laptop. The physical drive itself is tiny. And the casing is plastic (not metal). So it's extremely lightweight, and narrow enough so that it can actually fit inside the cap of fountain-pen. The only complain I have is the SanDisk software on Android. It kept failing to recognize the exFAT format that was default on the drive. After some troubleshooting, I realized that the drive first had to be formatted by Android (via Android OS's Storage setting), and not via Windows OS. Once the blank drive was formatted via native Android's Storage option for exFAT, it worked on Android across multiple phones, and also in Windows. Otherwise this software issue, this device was perfect for my needs.

I bought this as "cold storage" for my MacBook Pro M1. My plan was to offshore files from my internal SSD whenever I was running low on space but wanted to keep handy access to movie files and other stuff that didn't rate prime real estate on my SSD. I kind of stopped using thumb drives like this one a while ago. So I was surprised by how slow it is compared to one of my external SSDs or a high-speed memory card. And that's 100% on me. I'm disappointed that big file transfers take so long, but that comes with putting this much storage in a package that's barely larger than a USB-A connector. And teensy size is important for the job I want it to perform. A Samsung 512 gig SSD wouldn't have cost much more than this, and it would have been immensely quicker. But unlike the SSD, the SanDisk thumb drive is so small that I can keep it in my wallet. It's always at hand when I want to watch a movie I downloaded weeks ago, or free up space on a device. I'm also a big fan of the dual USB-A/USB-C combo connectors. It moves easily from my MacBook to my desktop to my phone to my iPad.

Need to reformat to exFAT for large file transfers, but it works well, and is convenient to go from ohone to PC

Easy to use

Great Drive. It holds alot of music. The sound quality is decent.

Working for about 2-3 minutes, after which it stops working and the stick is not available on Windows. Probably broken, this is why it's refurbished.

this sandisk is very compact and small with dual ports: USC-C and USB 3.1. It works perfectly as expected.

Ich bin mit dem SANDISK Ultra Dual Drive Go mit 256 GB sehr zufrieden. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass der Stick sowohl einen USB-C- als auch einen klassischen USB-A-Anschluss besitzt. Dadurch kann ich ihn flexibel an verschiedenen Geräten verwenden, ohne ständig einen zusätzlichen Adapter zu benötigen. Die Verbindung wird bei mir zuverlässig erkannt und die Übertragung von Dateien funktioniert einwandfrei. Gerade für Fotos, Videos oder andere größere Dateien ist der Speicherplatz von 256 GB sehr praktisch. Auch der Wechsel zwischen verschiedenen Geräten klappt problemlos. Der Stick ist kompakt, lässt sich leicht mitnehmen und macht insgesamt einen guten Eindruck. Für mich eine unkomplizierte Möglichkeit, Dateien zu sichern oder zwischen Smartphone und Computer zu übertragen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und würde den SANDISK Ultra Dual Drive Go jederzeit wieder kaufen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
