Review: Absolutely beautiful. - A stunning book. I'm really enjoying coloring in this! Since the pages are double sided I'm going to invest in a 2nd copy. I use colored pencils and you get "color transfer" on the opposite page. The paper is terrific quality. Review: One of my favorite books. - Recently I realized if I don't do something off the computer and phone for at least an hour a day, I will drive myself up the wall. I have a friend who really enjoys adult coloring, and I realized this was the answer. I've never done it before in my life, but I finished writing and publishing my fourth book and I thought I deserved a reward for this. I went online, and started looking around to see what adult coloring books there were. I found these books, and I ended up buying two of them. Now, as of this exact moment, I have colored exactly two pictures in my life. The one pictured on this review is the second one. I did an orc from Mythomorphia as my first one. I discovered I might kind of have a knack for coloring? So that's been fun. However, I can't wax poetic about things like page details, and bleed and whatever. I have no clue about any of that stuff. I can say, I totally lose myself in the pictures in this book. I've been flitting between this one and Mythomorphia and I cannot praise the art enough. If you're fantasy minded (and me, being a fantasy author, very much am fantasy-minded) then these images will likely really rev your engine. The pages are thick and I don't know what bleed is but I'm pretty sure there isn't any (ha ha). I use colored pencils to color these pictures and the results are fantastic. Vivid and real, and very much my own. I'm having a lot of fun with this book, and with the entire concept of world within worlds. While I sit down to work on a picture, I can really let my mind go. I'm not editing. I'm not writing. I'm not dealing with author clients. I'm not answering questions. I'm just present, in the moment, doing something pretty for no other reason than it's pretty. It's helped me sort out a lot of plot threads in my next book by just allowing me to let go, and it's got me to a point where I sit down to work on whatever picture I'm doing (currently a kraken two-page spread), and my whole body just unclenches and relaxes. So, incredible art. Highly recommend. I'm a fan for life.

My Favs
I love all of KR’s books. Although this is just another collection of his previous work from other books, It’s a really good compilation of my favs. I always like getting to recreate the images differently with different mediums. And watch over time at how my style and creative ideas change. With his drawings, the possibilities are endless

Great Images to digitize and color using your favorite painting app.
I photographed the images that I wanted to work with, and then imported them into the Procreate App to colorize it. By digitizing them, I can rework any project if I wish to try other color schemes.

Great design, medium paper quality
I really enjoy the drawings in this book. They are fun to color. The pages are double sided. I use colored pencils with some acrylic accents and I haven't had a bleed through. The quality of the paper is disappointing. It's so hard to get good saturation. An average amount of blending or multiple layers and the paper begins to degrade. I might begin using markers more although they are not my favored medium.

Extremely Creative
Once I saw Worlds Within Worlds I had to have it! The concept is very unique, there's a illustration of a world Within an illustration how creative is that? I like the intricate parts of the illustration, it challenges the colorist to get in there with their imagination.

What an incredible artist and book!
Not the best pictures as I'm working at night, but this book is beautiful. The images are stunningly intricate without being too difficult to colour and so interesting to explore while colouring. The paper is great quality and normal pens don't bleed (alcohol marker will). There are only 2 problems I have with this book, but they do not take away my enjoyment. 1. The illustrations are back to back so I can't use my alcohol markers without ruining the peice behind it. Some of Kerby's books are blank behind each single page image so I'll just use markers in those instead. 2. The double page spreads while beautiful, are difficult to lay flat, and some of the details get lost in the binding of the book (as shown in the picture). It's not the end of the world but it's a bit annoying. If these books were bound to lie flat, they would be the perfect books! In summary, there are hours of work put into this and hours of enjoyment to be had out of it. I'd recommend any of Kerby's books but this one is especially well designed and thought out. There isn't a single page in there that is seen in the other books (some others books are just repeats of previous work) and have a stunning theme to them. Just buy the book, you won't be disappointed!

Coloring is therapy! It's that fun and calming
My first Kerby Rosanes book. This review is going to be a rave because I had that much fun colouring. "Worlds Within Worlds" by Kerby Rosanes is an extraordinary coloring book that captivates with its intricate and imaginative illustrations. The detailed artwork invites hours of creative engagement, allowing colorists to bring fantastical scenes to life. The quality of the paper is excellent, accommodating various coloring mediums without any bleed-through. This book is perfect for those seeking a blend of complexity and whimsy in their coloring experience. A must-have for both novices and seasoned artists alike! And, a beautiful companion to podcasts or watching series.
