Really helps to build back forearm strength

I've had multiple NSD Spinners including the autostart version as well as heavy metallic variants. I'm currently recovering from an elbow injury and trying to strengthen my forearm to help with the recovery. Here is my take as a former NSD Spinner user (can't find the autostart and lost the starting string for the metal version). Build Quality: Compared to the NSD Spinner, this is noticeably subpar specially with the inner component Noise: This one makes quite a bit of ruckus when you stop rotating it. I don't know if it's due to the component seeming unpolished or this is normal for this particular model. While it's being rotated there is almost no discernible difference between this and the autostart models of NSD Spinner. Smoothness of the metal one was on a different level Felt weight/resistance: It's a nice medium between an autostart and metal version I bought this to start and possibly move up to a different model in the future. I think i will hold up and try to refurbish the metal version of spinner that was left neglected for years EDIT: Starting to get instances where it can't wind up to start the gyro. Sometime it seems to help when you rotate it manually by hand then reversing it to see if there is felt resistance EDIT: This thing was making such a ruckus when it get spun up to a decent pace. I went ahead and bought a NSD Spinner. Oh boy what a difference. Skip this garbage and buy the proper spinner. It's a night and day different in the way it spins as well as the lack of noise with NSD spinner. I think i can actually take it to work and spin it in the office without someone from another office across the hall inquiring about it

When I first unboxed the ball, it worked perfectly. I got the concept and it was really nice. Worked my wrists and arms. Unfortunately it broke after about 5 minutes. In discussing with others and looking at reviews, it seems there are a quite a few ways in which the ball can be broken. I guess if a person were to strictly follow all the advice from the maker, perhaps it would not break. I guess I broke it after I set it down on my desk with it still running (phone was ringing...). I will not re-order because it's apparently too easy to break it. 06-21-2022 - Addendum. I tried it again the next day and it worked fine. So I am thinking either I was doing something wrong (works every time now, however) or something that was not functioning is now ok. In any case, it works good so far. Hopefully will hold up in long time usage.

This is an excellent product. I bought two of them and so far I’ve had no issues. It took a day to develop the sensitivity needed to keep the unit rotating. Once spinning it only takes a little bit more effort to really get it spinning and it becomes one tough cookie to hold on to. Keep in mind this is NOT a perpetual motion machine. If you stop spinning the gyroscopic ball with your finger/wrist/arms it will slow down and stop fairly quickly. It is tricky to get the feel of it however in time you will be doing circle variations, counter circles, figure 8’s, and finger tip rotations. If you hold it with the internal ball upwards it will slow down a lot faster so KEEP THE BALL OPENING DOWN. A common complaint in reviews is that the wind up gyro starter doesn’t work or breaks. Both of mine have worked just fine. I am assuming that most of the people who have had issues with the wind up starter A.) did not read the instruction paper, B.) failed to hold the ball in place when winding it up, and/or C.) excessively over rotated the starter beyond it’s stopping point. I expect a little common sense would go a long way in resolving these issues. I am very happy with the purchase and have convinced several other people to buy one. The unit has a quality build and I highly recommend it.

This gyro ball is very easy to start, which I love. It’s the perfect way to finish off an upper body workout—just a minute or so of spinning gives my forearms a great final burn. The LED lights make it fun to use, too. ​One thing to note: It can get quite noisy as the speed increases. It's not a silent device, but if you don't mind the sound, it's a fantastic tool for a quick muscle pump at the end of your routine!

Recommended by a pitching coach for my 10 year old. Seems to be definitely strengthening him. Easy to use. Good quality.

Great tool for exercising the tendons connected with tennis elbow. The faster you rotate the wrist the more you resistance you get and better the exercise. ( Just need to jump start it once before every session using your thumbs, the instructions are given in the box and are very easy to understand) As a tennis and badminton player myself I will recommend this to everyone who plays these sports regularly. Fantastic product!

Effective and does what it says. Great value at low price. The LED lights make it slightly childish but its alright.
