Premium product at a bargain price!
Great product at a much reduced price compared to when new. Software also a lot better now than at launch so grab yourself a bargain! Don't expect it to be as fast as a well spec'd Intel device but if it's LTE & mobile connectivity on the go that you're after, alongside all the core Microsoft products or web based applications then this is the device for you. The newer versions are of course better but this is excellent for the price. Only negative I've really noticed is that updates take a long time to install, but that's hardly a major inconvenience compared to the benefits I get when using it out on my travels for work and for quick easy media consumption at home etc.

Nice bit of kit
Looks good. Works perfectly fine. Took a wee while to get it updated to latest version of Windows 10. No Windows 11 in updates as yet. As older product, not in Windows warranty, (been in sellers stock for over a year), but still covered by sellers warranty for a year from purchase.

A world of unfulfilled potential
Great piece of hardware, beautiful looking and it won't bend as easily as an iPad Pro but resign to the fact that you will be left with very very very restricted options of software to use even with emulation of 32-bit applications. Very few software vendors actually compile their software in two versions of 32 and 64 bits, so far from my antivirus to my VPN to virtually every single vendor I came across, almost nobody won't offer a 32-bit version to emulate, the more a version that runs natively in ARM processors. Beware that many of the ARM compatible apps in the Microsft Store have serious restrictions in terms of functionality when compared to their "desktop" versions. For example: Dropbox will not offer file system integration. Most of the ARM applications that will run with the Surface Pro X are written by wannabe programmers offering cheap copycats of well known Intel-compatible software. Given that Windows for ARM has been around for a few years now, it doesn't feel like there is a future for a Windows ARM ecosystem. Even after all this time, you will still be quite limited in options in the Microsoft Store, which is already limited even for Intel users. Then, once you find a vendor who ships a 32-bit version of their software, don't expect the software to be emulation-ready. Most of the times the software will fail to install. I am well aware that my Microsoft Surface Pro X is just for taking notes.
