I bought this item even though I read many reviews about the difficulty in adjusting the moving parts. Luckily I read all the reviews as one commented on needing to adjust the moving parts with a screwdriver. This is THE ANSWER. I suggest also using a small spray of WD40 on the adjustable areas. A very small hex screwdriver will work, as will a small phillips screwdriver. Once this product is adjusted properly it is FANTASTIC!!! The part holding any shaped bottle works very well. The nail product I use is in a very strange thin sided square bottle and it is held firmly and will adjust to any angle. Thanks to the person who first mentioned the need to loosen the screws to adjust.

This is a nice little gadget. If you have a full, heavy bottle of nail polish, I suggest you flip it around, as it will not hold the bottle like the ad shows it. But it works well flipped around so the bottle can rest on the neck of the arm. It is very flexible. Doesn’t fall over. I also added a rubber bumper to better hold the bottle, as the weak material used for the grip will allow a heavy bottle to slide out.. It does work on odd shaped bottles, even square bottles.

Glad I took the time to look through the reviews. The arm will not move, and the plastic is far too cheap to force it to move. It was clear that something wasn't right. Once I read that you have to loosen the screws in order to get it to move -- it now works great. I will not give 5 stars for something that had no instructions and no tool provided to make it work. It's very cheap plastic and feels like it will not last. I hope I'm wrong!

I am actually really thrilled with this purchase and its something I've been missing for years of nail painting! It totally takes care of the common difficulty of balancing the bottle without knocking it over when I'm doing my manicure and don't have a someone on hand to hold the nail polish bottle for me. Very worthwhile purchase and swift delivery even in the face of COVID 19 delays. A+

i'm loving my polish holder but i'm using it to hold a small led flashlight to quick cure my gel nails. works beautifully
