Mah Jong Quest Expeditions

I'm a huge fan of Mah Jong and this game is a blast! Of course the tiles are small, I've yet to get this game with largeTiles, but buying over the counter magnifying glasses takes care of that problem! It's more than just Mah Jong, they threw some fun twists in the games . Tons of extra play besides the Quest. If you like a challenge try this game!!

If you are a fan of the Mahjong games, you should like this game. I like the Mahjong games but feel that this game could have used alittle more work. I think the graphics on this game could have been a lot better than they are. The graphics makes this game alittle hard to see on the DS considering that the screen is so small to begin with. Overall its a fun game, but if you have problems playing games on the DS that have great graphics then you are going to have a hard time with this game. Overall its fun, but hard to see. If they had an option to lighten or darken the screen that would make it alittle better in the ease of playing it.

I want to say that I, too, have less than good eyesight ... but I wanted this game because I love these types of games and no other system since Lynx and the early Game Boy has had a game like this available. Those systems had "Shanghai" a form of Mah Jong. Let me tell you...THOSE screens WERE small and kinda blurry too!At first I had a bit of trouble seeing the tiles, but after I got used to the complex designs of the tiles and got used to what I was seeing, and able to see the differences in them, it got easier and it is one of my favorite games.I really wish I could turn the timer off because I like to leisurely play games of this nature without the stress of hurrying up...but still ... I wouldn't part with it. For me, it's a definite keeper.I'm just glad that this game is available. I think there needs to be more of this type of game as well as more card games and traditional type games for adults.I highly recommend this game but I would advise those of you with less than perfect eyesight to give it some time to get used to it. It's not a game you can just sit down and immediately master. It takes a while to get used to the tiles ... but once you do, you will really enjoy it.

Just received the game today, and will put it back in the box and write off as a poor choice. Not only do you need a magnifying glass to play the game, but you really need one to read the little book that comes with it. I thought the mahjong game in Touchmaster was a little hard to decipher....this one is impossible for my 72 year old eyes. Yes, even with my reading glasses on.

This game is a lot of fun but the graphics are way too small and hard to see. Also the strategy instructions are not very specific and a person actually has to play the level to figure out how everything works

I love the game. Several varieties of layouts...but...on the DS the screen is so small it is difficult for the more mature gamer to see. Maybe the tiles could have been easier to see or larger. But the game is fun and the grandkids love it.

I am an avid fan of any Mah Jong game. I have played them for years and just love them, plus it is a great way of tuning out the world for a bit and just relax and have some fun. This paticular Mah Jong Game is excellent, challenging, but fun. I just love it and hope they keep coming in the future.

My wife has had this game for a few years, and suddenly couldn't find it. I bought it as a replacement.A few years back she wanted to learn Mah Jong and couldn't find anyone to show her, or play the game after learning the game..She bought Moh Jong Quest and it taught her how to play.... She likes to take it in the car when we go on long trips.Its easy to learn, has different skill levels. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn this ancient game.
