I'm a 2X breast cancer survivor and have had 5 breast surgeries (among other surgeries). I say that so it's understood that I have had to wear my fair share of compression garmets. I originally bought this for use after diep flap surgery (breast surgery #4) but it didn't seem right when I attempted to put it on. It seemed too small and too hard to put on. I felt it would have hurt the healing incisions on my stomach just trying to get it on. Also those incisions required daily care and i had drains to deal with at first. Fast forward 3 months later to my revision surgery and it is perfect. This surgery involved fat graphing to the breast using fat liposuctioned from the abdomen and saddlebag area. 1 day after surgery I am comfortable and i feel well compressed in my whole abdomen area (I have a long torso). Going to the bathroom hasn't been too bad either. I just unhook the clasps and go. I have been hooking only 2 of the 3 clasps down there. The only thing that makes it a little difficult for me is I don't have all of my arm range of motion from prior surgeries but I still make it work. After using the restroom, I pull the back flap forward as much as I can and then hook it to the front flap. With all my other compression garmets usually I become uncomfortable somewhere or I don't feel properly compressed where I need to be. A couple of my good ones seem to cut into the top of my inner thigh after a few hours. This one has been so comfortable. The nurse told me to bring my compression garmet to surgery and they will put it on me afterwards. So I woke up from surgery with this garmet on yesterday morning. I noticed the right side shoulder strap was on twisted on both my compression garmet and bra (most of the work was done on the right side). I was starting to correct it and straighten them out but thought it might have been done on purpose so I left it that way. After seeing some of the comments complaining about straps cutting into their shoulder, im starting to think it's why they did my straps this way. The whole strap cannot cut into my shoulder now. I don't know for sure if that's why they twisted those straps but i thought i'd pass it along in hopes that it helps someone else with that issue. Before and after diep flap surgery I was 5'6 and 181 pounds. My measurements before yesterday's revision surgery was 40-35-43. I was on the border of both size large and XL but I'm really glad I had the large for this surgery. Luckily it was a perfect fit but if it was any tighter it wouldn't have worked. I hardly ever write reviews but as I'm sitting here comfortably 1 day after surgery (with nothing else to do lol) I felt i should share my experience with this garmet since it's not rated 5 stars. That held me back from purchasing it for months and then when I did it wasn't right for the first surgery 3 months ago but it was perfect for this surgery. I'm glad i didn't rate this back then. Sometimes a garmet isn't the right one for certain situations but it doesn't mean it isn't perfect for others. If after washing and wearing this again it holds up well, I will be purchasing another one. As of now this is a 5 star item for me

I’ve always hated shapewear. It’s a pain to get in and out of, hot, uncomfortable, itchy, and heaven help you if you need to use the restroom while wearing it. It’s usually just not worth the trouble. I had a dress for a special event and decided I wanted a little smoothing for my “mom tummy,” so I did some research and landed on this shaper — and honestly, I’m impressed. For reference, I’m 5’5”, about 200 lbs, wear an XL, and have a pear-shaped body with curves in my tummy, hips, and bum. I ordered the XL and found it to be true to size. It comfortably accommodated my shape without pinching, digging, or feeling restrictive. Now for the practical details. The front zipper with hook-and-eye closure makes it surprisingly easy to get on and off — a huge win for shapewear. The hook-and-eye closure at the bottom also makes bathroom trips easy, which is something I’ve rarely experienced with similar garments. It comes up just under the bust, allowing you to wear your own bra, which I really appreciated. The straps are fully adjustable and can be worn either standard or racerback. Once on, I felt smoothed and supported but never uncomfortable. I could move, eat, and breathe normally. It didn’t shift, slide down, or bunch throughout wear. The fabric is soft, not itchy or scratchy, and the overall construction feels solid and well-designed. I really liked this shapewear overall. It definitely gives good compression and helps smooth everything out, especially around the waist and stomach area. When I put it on, it instantly gave a more snatched look under my dress. The material feels strong and supportive, which is what you want with shapewear. It holds everything in place without feeling cheap or flimsy. My only suggestion would be to consider sizing up. The compression is pretty strong, so going up one size might make it more comfortable for longer wear while still giving good shaping. Pros: • Strong tummy control • Smooths and shapes nicely • Good quality material Cons: • Runs a little tight • May want to size up for comfort Overall it does exactly what shapewear is supposed to do and works great under dresses if you want a more sculpted look.

First thing I noticed is how excellent the quality was for the price! I went by the fit listed in the size chart and it was spot on. My fav features: The thick double shaping layer / closure system around the tummy + waist area ... the front is snug and slimming but somehow it doesn't create any bulging / lumps in the back. The open chest feature also tucks in my side jiggle and gives a minor but noticeable chest lift. I also noticed a slight butt lift and appreciated the way the lace comes down over the thigh to prevent the panty line look. Lastly, whoever came up with the idea to make the potty access with hooks instead snaps is a genius! (IMO hooks are much easier to use and are more secure/sturdy.) Fantastic product... instead of dreading, I am actually looking forward to attending the next event that requires formal wear. FYI, this is not a paid review, just a very happy customer! :)

I am 5'4, 135lbs, waist 28", size S: bought an XS THE GOOD: Fits nice and snatched. Very sturdy outter material and the inner material is smooth and silky texture, i felt my ribs being compressed as intended and gave my waist a nicer silhouette. I had no problems putting it on nor using the bathroom. It feels snatched but very very comfortable. THE UNFORTUNATE: I have thick thighs and a slightly larger butt, the shaper created a shape distortion on my butt, a big lump on the hip back sides and flattened the front area beneath the hips where the leg starts. Making this shaper best suitable for wearing with lose skirts and flared dresses. Things i don't use often. If you're not very thick from the waist down, this is a excelente choice for you. It is high quality and fits beautifully

The fit, shape, and comfort was amazing. I didn’t roll up and kept me looking good, smooth, and comfortable all evening. I wore an off the shoulder dress and I let the straps show and it looked great and gave a balanced shoulder line.

I am so impressed. this thing holds tightly without pinching or rolling. It may seem like it won't fit but trust the process, squeeze yourself in, clip it up and zip it up and you will totally be impressed. It is totally wearable all day. The zipper is noticeable under some shirts so layering may be required for that completely smooth look. I liked it so much I got a second one.
