I don't understand why this seat has poor reviews, given the price relative to the genuine BMW counterpart. Yes, it's plastic, not aluminum, and the finish on the silver is underwhelming, but it gets the job done for 10% of the price; I can put a brushed finish with clear coat on for another 20-30 bucks, and still be under 20% of the BMW alternative. The cushion cover for the storage area is actually BETTER than the BMW one in my opinion (my BMW one came off on the freeway, because the cushion cover kept coming loose, and while trying to put it back with my butt, I knocked it right off the bike). Someone said that the seat bumpers, or other plastic, will break if you over-tighten the mounting screw. That may be, but it's not my experience; could depend on the seat you have.

Bought this seat cowl because I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for an OEM one. For $60, it's pretty decent and I can't complain. It came with a threaded U-nut, and install was easy. I used the rubber feet that came installed on the cowl, and it worked just fine. Fitment is pretty good on my 2023 R nineT Pure.

Looks good from 10 feet. The silver separates from the framing as you can see in the video. It’s a b**ch to line up the bolt, too. It doesn’t sit flush naturally, so you have to push it down to even be close enough for the bolt. It’s not horrible for the price, but not terribly great. I’m gonna see if I can add some adhesive to keep it from separating. It’s probably doing that because there’s some tension on it to even sit right.

I installed this on a 2013 BMW R nine T pure. The fittment is one ⭐️, the quality is four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It does not for well towards the front or ear of seat. No directions for install .

MAKE SURE YOU USE THE 4 RUBBER FEET FROM YOUR BIKE!! Don't use the 4 rubber feet that come shipped with the Cowl. They are way too tall and prevent the seat from sitting flush. If you use them and crank the mounting screw down you will "rack" the cowl. This stress will fracture the cowl after you hit some bumps.

This product is great and looks just like the original from BMW.

Ordered in grey to hopefully match my Grey Metallic paint. It doesn't match and didn't really say that it would in the description. No worries there as I can paint it easily. Quality is okay for price. Probably won't last forever, but at such a discount for the OEM part, it's well worth the money. Would recommend
