Better than dish soap
So much better than just dish soap. My patina comes out so much nicer looking and solder lines polish up better as well. Also works well for cleaning up tools that get flux on them.

No flux! And no residue!
I read about CJ‘s flux remover and thought I would give it a try because what I was using was pitiful. It left streaks and residue and didn’t clean next to the solder. This remover makes a lovely foam when a fairly soft brush is used to scrub your piece. It rinses off well and leaves the glass shiny and the solder bright silver. So far I have found that both black and copper patinas apply well.
