How often should the blades be replaced

I’ve been using this blade for over a year and it still cuts very smooth. I shave my head once a week and always have used Barbasol for a wet shave. I also clean it every time after use with a toothbrush.

Do you replace the whole head or just the blades?

It is the whole head. The blades are contained under a plastic "grid" If one was so inclined, I imagine the individual blade wheels which are removable can be touched up. I choose to get the whole head.

Can i use a product like oster blade wash to clean these blades similar to cleaning my balding clippers or is compressed air the better solution?
