ADFORS Spline, .125" x 25', Black

This is the right product for the job, have used two of these 100ft packs to replace all the screens on my house. Far better value than the smaller packs at the hardware store. It's tough yet flexible and always consistent, easily handling the fussy bits like working around the corners, the locating pegs and the puller where things can get a bit tight and fiddly. Choose the right size for your screen frames and this product will consistently create and hold the right tension during installation to make your new screen mesh look flawless.

I needed some spline to replace the screen on a patio door and saw this item on Amazon with the 100' length for about the same cost as typical 25' spline packages so I figured I would try this and have more left over for future projects. This spline is less dense than other spline I have used, which made it easy to install and easy to cut. However, I suspect that the extra flexibility could leave it more vulnerable to popping out under some circumstances. Nevertheless, this worked fine for my needs and it was a very good deal, so I would recommend this.

0. 175 inch x 100 foot is the PERFECT size for my condo porch. My cat ripped the screen 2X and the stuff @ home depot was not the right size and they had little selection. I had some some spline falling out and replaced it with this, perfect.

No issues at all. Strong. Pressed in nicely. Check a YouTube video where a guy uses coins to measure what size you need. I didn't have a mm ruler. I used coins to measure both the screen spline groove and the spline itself. Got it right on the first try. A+

To fix a torn screen in a door panel, I ordered a spliner, and the spline that popped up with the product looked good, so I got that. It was .25" diameter, wayyy too wide for my door. I didn't realize there were different widths. Trying to figure it out, I found this product. No guessing needed, and I wanted it sooner than later so I didn't want to order one size, then another, until I got it right. Also, it looked like the old spline was t-shaped, not the much more common round, so I really was uncertain. Turns out I needed the .140" size. It fit in very securely, and there was no problem with using the round spline. My only complaint is that the 3 includes sized pieces were all tangled together. It took a few minutes to untangle them. No big deal, but I'd rather than had used 3 ties to keep them separate.

This spline is strong and easy to use. It is the perfect thickness to replace screens on windows. It is a great value and looks great!

Got this spline to install a "pet defense" screen on a patio door. The plastic screen is thicker but this spline worked perfectly.

Handyman and myself happy with purchase as hardware store, big box stores don’t carry this size of spline .125inch x 100 ft for old type window screens ! Especially for installing pet screens which are thicker than most screens! Kudos to Amazon.ca for having this product in stock! I had this type of spline many years ago!
