Exerpeutic TF1000 Walk to Excellent Fitness!!!!
So when I bought this about a month ago I was really excited about it & saved 9 months for this treadmill. The box it came in is extremely huge. I didn't expect that! The weight I did expect though, aside from that the walking on it is amazing. I bought this because my surgeon and my family doc told me to walk every day. I have been walking on this because in my neighborhood it is not a good area. & two the weather changes rapidly and sporadically. Either hot or too cold and rainy. So I bought this and really hoped it would work and be a breeze to put together. It turns out it was a breeze to put together, since I READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL to put it together. Granted there are some parts in this that are heavy. But I put it together by myself! YAY! & I'm a woman. ;) So to any women saying it's too heavy, yes but you have to read how much it weighs too and esp. still in box. Without box it's 75 lbs or more. With box it came in it's 150 lbs. So I can fold it or not. I prefer to not fold it though. I have been walking on it ONLY. It says NO RUNNING! I am trying to lose weight, since I know my body better than anyone else or a doc. It really works with the heart rate. But once I take my hands off the heart rate monitors on both sides of handle bars & it has to restart the heart rate at 70 beats per second. Speed can be easily turned up or down. Couple days ago I have Err 3 on it but just started pressing buttons and it went away. Probably not best thing to of done but oh well it got the message away. Haven't had that message since then and I am recording my calories everyday that I walk. Which is fine with me because that's how I want my status of my calories that I have walked in four wks. I don't know if I'm losing weight or not because I DO NOT have a weight machine to stand on. So I don't know. But in the past walking has been positive for me to lose weight, so it has worked for me and I know I have do cardio a lot. I have NO complaints about this yet! So I will update in the next 3 months with this. So far I recommend this to anyone wanting to walk a lot! Or get active again from a sedentary lifestyle. It will definitely get your butt moving. :) Have fun with buying this. Also nothing broken when it came. UPS guy accidentally made a hole in the box with his large dolly but he was having to struggle with getting it in my home. So I understand.

A Quiet Walking Treadmill
UPDATE: A YEAR LATER!! Hi everyone it has been a wonderful healthy year on my treadmill desk. I lost weight, almost 20 lbs, which is all I had to lose. I am now as thin as I was as a teenager, and that was over 20 years ago. The treadmill has held up well and I log about 6 miles a day on it..wonderful!!! Everyone who has a desk job should get one of these. It has given me more energy as well. I just received this treadmill three days ago, and it was a cinch to set up, just a few minutes and I was up and walking. My main purpose for this treadmill is for a treadmill desk, and I need a model that is very quiet at low speed and can deliver consistent speed. I looked at every treadmill on the market, and this one won me over because of the controls on the handlebars, so i don't have to make room on my desk for a bulky control console, and its claim of being quiet. It is so quiet that i can hear my kids in the next room, the radio is at a normal volume and I can still hear myself think. Thank you Exerpeutic for delivering on that promise! This treadmill can handle up to 400 lbs, and the designers put a lot of thought into the dimensions of this design. It has a wide belt, and extremely sturdy side arms, plus lots of room in front of the console. I also like that it only can go up to 4 miles per hour, plenty fast for a brisk walk. I do not intend to jog or run on it, so that was not a negative for me. I have assembled my desk at just below elbow height, above the handlebars (the console I ended up mounting upside down,to fit it under the desk, since I only use the handlebar controls). I am 5'4 and it may not work for a shorter person unless you get a desk specifically designed for a treadmill. The length of the belt is relatively short, but honestly I am only using about half of the length. A very tall person walking very fast(faster than I jog!) might need a longer belt, but for most people this should fit the bill. I typed this review from my treadmill desk, and I couldn't be more pleased with this treadmill. Great walking treadmill!

I bought this treadmill about 10 months ago, suddenly earlier this week it shutdown in the middle of use and would not turn back on. Then a few minutes later it started producing a horrendous electrical smoke smell and was extremely hot to the touch. I contacted the seller (WESTSIGHT) for customer support but was told that it was past the 30-day window so they won't do anything. I then contacted the manufacturer (Xplus Outdoor Inc.) thinking surely this product has at least a 1 year warranty, however since it was purchased from Amazon and not them directly they won't honor any warranties. Lastly I contacted Amazon directly for an A-Z guarantee refund/replacement and was told that the product was not eligible for the guarantee. So now I am left with a roughly 1000$ brick that won't work. Save yourself the money and the headache of the terrible support and get a different treadmill.

It's a good piece of equipment! No issues putting together and using. My issues were with delivery but that was sorted out. The treadmill itself was a gift for a person with degenerative disk disease in the lower spine region and it works great in helping to rebuild strength. Longer handles are durable and hold the weight well for support. Options are sufficient and good for the price you pay.

Great performance, feel secure by the long handle bars. Easy to store.

A good buy for us. My wife and I have used this treadmill for half-an-hour each morning since it arrived 3 weeks ago. So between us we have walked more than 60 miles on it. It shipped from Concord, Ontario to Calgary, Alberta, in 4 days, and took less than an hour to unpack and set up. It is pretty quiet. I am 6ft tall and my stride just fits the length of the walking belt so would not recommend this treadmill for anyone taller. We also found the length of the safety tether to be a little short making it easy to unintentionally pull out and stop the treadmill, so I used a longer tether from another treadmill. In early April I often exercised about dawn and installed a small flexible reading light because the display is not backlit. The long arms also enabled installing a reading/storage tray in front of the console --- we used a bath caddy from Bed Bath and Beyond.

I had such high hopes for this treadmill. My intended use was to simply clamp a board over the long handles and use it as a treadmill desk. To that end, it worked out perfectly. Simply adding or removing a few strips of wood I was able to adjust it to the perfect height, and it was very usable... For about 30 minutes. Then the click, click, clack, whrrrrr, click, clack, whrrrrr, began. After dealing with customer support, and tearing the thing apart, it was determined that the front roller had defective bearings. I arranged with Amazon to have it RETURNED. Due to a mixup on their end, after this treadmill was picked up for return another one arrived. Given that it was already here, and other than it being defective it was both quiet and suited my needs at an affordable price, I thought I'd give it another shot. After hauling it out of the box and setting it up, I was quickly disappointed... This unit was defective right out of the box. The motor was off balance and the unit both made an audible clicking noise again, and this time shook rather violently when set at anything above 1mph. After another unfortunate flub with the return of this one, I contacted Amazon for a third time and this one was finally taken away for a full refund. I eventually went with the LifeSpan TR1200-DT3 Standing Desk Treadmill. While this unit is nearly twice the price of the Exerpeutic, it is quieter, more compact, lighter, and has thus far performed flawlessly.
