Works with Bombas Compression Socks
Bought this after seeing it in a video reel on FB. Always a little skeptical what I see on there but have had some good luck. Getting the Bombas Compression socks can be a real PITA! They are super tight at the compression areas and its always a process to get them on. SO figured if they became easier to put on I would wear them more often and actually follow my doctor's recommendation to wear them often. The complaint I saw about this Cone was that the suction didn't hold. I have tried it and you have to release the tension all the way and make sure it is on a smooth clean surface, and then rotate the lever to full suction and it holds really well. If you don't start with the tension fully released on the suction cup then it may be hit or miss if it holds. Not hard at all to get it to the right place to start and its easy to tell when the pressure is fully released. With the sleeve, getting the sock all the way on was a breeze. Wish they sold this Cone with the Sleeve as a package deal at better price...but for what you get and the ease to put on tight compression socks without any issues its worth it.

Buy once, cry once
Half of what you need to put on compression socks. You also need the "sleeve" which is also useful in taking your socks off. It's a little expensive for what it is, but it works well, and will probably last forever.

Hard to use with thigh high stockings
I thought it was extremely hard to use so I’m returning it. I watched YouTube videos and it seemed to make sense but when I went to go try it it’s like the stocking was too long. Maybe the stocking that was used in the video was shorter? I’m not sure but myself and my daughter tried over and over and we just really couldn’t get the hang of it. In the end, it seemed easier to put a thigh high stocking on a different way. I got a tip from a doctor to fold the whole stocking inside out then push the toe in all the way up to just before the heel… Then pull it over your foot, match up the heel to your heel, and then continue to pull it all the way up your leg to the thigh. Getting it started correctly is so important because of it’s a little bit twisted at the bottom near the ankle, it’s extremely uncomfortable. It’s like you’ve got to be sure that you’re going straight up with a stocking and not twisting at all.

Ideal for caregivers
There are 2 people we take care of that wear medical / compression stockings. They often have bandages or dressings that we have to go over, which was a major nightmare trying to slide over with regular donning devices. These are absolutely amazing to work with. I am a little worried about how long they'll hold up, but no issues thus far. If you are not able to reach your own toes, these will not work well for you. As a caregiver I find it easy to put a sock on one arm, roll the sock off my arm onto the donner, then roll it off the donner onto the patient. Faster and more comfortable for the patient. The tower was really only for patients with something on the socks we wouldn't want to get on us.

A comical review is almost irresistible. But I do have some complaints.
The device works fine but the price is ridiculous. I’m sort of an amateur comedian and as you can tell from the photos, it’s just way too easy to address the obvious jokes to which this product lends itself. Perhaps if they’d made it green? Maybe put batteries a vibrating motor in it to help shake the sock down into place? On the serious side, I had to downgrade the stars for this product even further after discovering that the base leeches brown oil in to my countertops. I’ve tried Lysol, Clorox, Peroxide, you name it. My countertops are permanently stained.

Easier to use than wire-frame contraptions
This is easier to use than various wire-frame contraptions sold by several manufacturers. It is not as easy as the videos, it takes some practice. The suction cup feature doesn't really work. It might if I had a glass-smooth surface to put it on, but the suction cup isn't very important anyway. It is easy to lose track of where the heel is when you load it, you do better to find the top of the toe area. It lets you just roll the stocking on, then you tug on the stocking a little, and use some friction gloves to smooth out a few wrinkles.

makes putting on knee and thigh high elastic stockings (even my 20-30 mmHg) a breeze
Used in combination with the doughnut shaped piece, it makes putting on knee and thigh high elastic stockings (even my 20-30 mmHg) a breeze and that helps my caregiver (wife) apply them after my surgery. Happy wife ...

Worth it!
Makes us compression stocking so much easier. I had a hard time justifying the price for the doff Donner at first, but a clinic I go to used this and once I saw how easily and efficiently it put the stocking on, I knew I had to get one for home. It’s made my life much easier and has also extended the lifespan of my stockings by not stretching them out with every time I take them on and off.

Muy contento
Genial, lo he comprado para poner una media de compresión y junto con el rulo hace que poner la media que antes me costaba mucho sea todo muy rápido, lo compré con dudas y me ha sorprendido gratamente.

This version of the Rolly
This is the second Doff N’Donner cone I’ve bought together with the Rolly stocking aid. The first Rolly and cone were left at a holiday home abroad at the end of the x . I am dependent on the Rolly and cone. I have had lymphoedema since the age of 18 and I’ve also had two total knee replacements in the last 9 months. The Rolly and Cone have been fantastic aids in putting on and taking off the thick constriction stockings I have to wear. However I was ever so disappointed to find that the new cone is very much longer than the previous one was. I have had to keep the new cone as I use it every morning and evening. I took the previous Rolly and cone to doctor’s appointments, hydrotherapy classes and many other places around town - it just about fitted into a large bag. The new cone is far too long to carry around which will make life much more difficult. I wondered whether Sigvaris in Europe might be willing to give me at a reduced one of the shorter cones. I buy stockingsġtights from them but the UK office does not sell the Rolly and cone here. I’m going to speak to my lymph therapist who originally suggested the Rolly and Cone, and also to Dr Kristiana Gordon, Consultant in Lymphovascular Medicine and Clinical Lead of the Lymphoedema Service at St George’s Hospital. London. Unfortunately, Sigvaris do not sell the Rolly and Cone here in the UK. I’ve asked them about it previously. I wondered whether Sigvaris in Europe might be willing to supply me with another, shorter version of the Cone which I can easily carry around with me? Is it possible for you to talk to Them please. I look forward to hearing from you Kind regards Ruth
