I recently bought this portable door lock, and I was honestly super impressed when it arrived. I tested it out right away, and it was very strong, durable, and did exactly what it was supposed to do. It gives an extra sense of safety, and I did not even know these existed before, but they are amazing for traveling or staying out of state. I would definitely recommend having one because you never know when it will come in handy. The steel is solid, the design is well thought out, and nothing about it feels cheap. Even though it is small enough to fit in a purse, it is incredibly powerful and reliable. Overall, a great safety item to keep on hand.

Easy application. Got this on sale so I’m loving the value. Quality seems to be of high standards. This devise is small but mighty. I have confidence that unless someone uses a battering ram it’s doubtful they’ll be able to enter. Definitely recommend.

Used this lock at a resort in Cancun and worked like a charm. I am a solo female traveler and having this additional layer of protection made me feel safer.

I was surprised that It worked. I live in an apartment complex. I tried to open the door several times and it would not budge. It’s easy to install. You have to install this on the inside of the door of course. I saw some comments about the outside which would not make sense because the door opens from inside. Good quality item.

Used for quite some time and it held up, till one day it busted right in half. Cheaper quality. I would spent a bit more to get a sturdier one if you're going to get one.

This portable door lock is a nice extra layer of security, but it takes some practice to get the hang of installing it, depending on your door. It’s a good addition for peace of mind, but I wouldn’t rely on it as the only form of security. With enough force, I think someone could still get the door open.

Can the seller please contact me. I’ve tried emailing with no luck Just received this and it’s damaged. The chain is broken off the wedge to the metal claw. See photo. Please replace. I don’t know how you don’t check these things before sending it out. Very frustrating, especially since it’s over $35!
