Just what I needed to sharpen my handsaw

Great file
Put a handle on it and set it to work sharpening saws. Hard steel, works great. Sharpened 10s of times by now and just don’t think about it, which is the best thing you can say about a file.

Good for saw sharpening
I bought this for sharpening rip and cross-cut saws in the 10-14 tpi range. It cuts nice and smooth when I have the saw plate clamped down appropriately. The file can clog if you're not watching. Overall it's just the right size, performance and price. Recommended.

Useless......XX slim files same size as X slim
These files are hopeless. First, "Nicholson, India".....really? India, that well known quality maker of files. Second, if you buy these to file saws with 11+ ppi you will be sorely disappointed as these files are at least as large as my older Nicholson, USA extra slim files. Longer and with each face the EXACT same height as an X slim file.Useless.
