Very happy with this purchase! combined this cargo carrier with the anti-rattle tow hitch and worked perfectly. The 5 hour ride was super quiet, no rattle sounds, no loose straps banging on the car or flapping in the wind, it was wonderful. I found the straps to be very strong and steady, despite some of the reviews I read. I have NO issue at all with the straps and was hauling 2 very large suitcases, back packs, and other items on the cargo carrier. In fact, after reading reviews of this product, I purchased the ratchet style straps to use, but had no need for them at all. Great product!

I used this bag in the curt cargo basket it was designed for and had zero issues on cross country trips. The zipper is heavy duty and easy to use. I had no issues in all different weather including snow, rain and sandstorms. The straps to secure it to the cargo basket could be better but are still strong and durable. I’ve used a ratchet strap over the top of the bag as a precautionary measure and had no issues. Overall heavy duty materials surpassed my expectations even when the bag was maxed out with luggage. I had no signs of wear and tear, even after a dozen times of unloading and loading the bag to maximum capacity (4 large suitcases and a couple small duffel bags).

I’ve used this on some long hot and wet trips from GA to Miami and it is great. The quality is fantastic and tough. The zippers are the strongest I’ve seen. Works perfectly with my Curt rear basket.

Have had this bag for 9 years now and made several trips from Texas to many states almost every year never had any moisture issues when zipped and closed well. No rips and how showing any signs of wear. Straps are holding up also, but need cleaning. Driven through several rainstorms and no wet luggage or items inside! Would buy again.

I purchased this and the Curt cargo carrier when moving from Texas to California. My daughter and I and our three dogs traveled in the car with a couple weeks worth of supplies, and the rest of our household goods went separately. I was easily able to fit a dog crate and two suitcases into this cargo carrier bag with room to spare. The bag is made of a very sturdy vinyl and the tie-downs were easy to use after I initially figured it out. It would be nice if they were attached on one end, but this way I can wash them. We went through all sorts of weather and the bag was fully protective. It's sturdy enough that I could lift off the whole bag to take it into the motel at night, but small enough that I could fold the empty bag in the back of the car. The zipper is very sturdy and covered to protect any gaps from the weather, but (and this is my only complaint) the zipper was somewhat difficult to pull and to get around the corners of the bag. I think I'll try spraying some WD-40 or something on it the next time we use it, which I intend to do when we next go camping or skiing.

Curt makes a nice and affordable cargo bag. Recently used this cargo bag on a trailer hitch mounted cargo carrier. Went a total of 3000 miles through the mountain snows and plains rains and kept 99.9% of the moisture out. I am very happy with this purchase. Very simple to use. I would caution also like I had read in the reviews, in the more frigid cold weather, the material is stiffer and you should work the zipper at the corners with attention and not force it. Straighten it out and it will zip. Highly recommend this Curt cargo bag and would purchase again.

I LOVE my curt bag. It has helped me tremendously in storing items in my new basket. The material holds up well and is thick and strong. I did not use the straps provided and just bungeed the bag to the basket we bought and this works perfectly.

So far, no leaks. The quality seems secure, heavy duty and waterproof. It does not feel cheap. This was the perfect size so we could pack more people instead of gear. Of course, we bought the cargo holder too not just the case
