EDIT: 3 month update.....I'm still leaving it at 5 stars. We have now had this mattress for just over 3 months and still love it. I am falling asleep faster, staying asleep and waking up feeling more rested. I have slept on both sides and even in the middle of the mattress and have equal comfort anywhere. I normally have 3 dogs hogging the bed and what's really nice is I barely notice if they get up and move to a new spot, even if it's right next to me. I no longer feel like my husband is doing backflips if he turns over in the middle of the night either. Even the one night the mattress pad didn't make it into the dryer in time for bed I did notice the difference the mattress pad makes in not making this mattress feel as firm, but it was still quite comfortable, just not as comfortable. I have no complaints. There were no smells with ours to start with so that never was a problem and it's still at a full 12" evenly across. I'm in the camp of those who were really skeptical of buying a mattress online. Especially a foam one since I've had a regular pillow top one for the past 10 years. Yes it was time for a new mattress! I had been shopping around for a new mattress for a few months trying out different ones, getting pricing and trying to make a decision which is kind of a big deal when you're more than likely looking at spending a lot of money. A friend suggested we consider the foam mattresses and that Amazon had some good prices on them. I headed to a local store to give their version of these mattresses a try and I was surprised how comfortable they were. After testing them out I decided to see what Amazon reviews had to say about the ones they offered. I read through the good and the not so good and the flat out bad reviews and decided to take a chance and see what arrived. I am super happy I did! Granted it's only been 2 weeks but so far we love this mattress! I had read the multiple reviews saying theirs didn't inflate correctly, had a foul odor, was lumpy, etc....thankfully none of that was true of what we received. To break it down..... cons... It is a firm mattress no doubt. I am someone who likes to pretty much sleep in a cloud and am a side sleeper so it's taken some getting used to. Since the cost of this mattress was so good I went ahead and ordered a high quality mattress cover/pad and for me it's really helped make adjusting going from a plush pillow top to a firm bed a lot easier. Going from a spring mattress to a foam ones takes some adjustment on the support on the sides. Obviously the spring ones tend to have more of a frame around the edges so sitting on the side of the bed is different. I wouldn't say it's bad but it's not as supportive. We will probably need to get a new bed frame here sometime soon. While the box springs we had from our old king are still in great shape the lighter weight mattress tends to slide and needs to be shoved back into place every night before going to bed. Not really any fault of the mattress it's just a con that I'll need to replace the bed itself in order to stop this from happening. Another con that's not the fault of the mattress it's just my bad luck....I missed where this was on sale just after Thanksgiving because I was still pondering what kind of mattress to get. So I paid the higher, yet still on sale, price. 4 days later it went back on sale again and has remained $40 cheaper for over a week now. Bummer for me, but still a good deal, just not as good of a deal as if I'd waited 4 more days to decide. On to the good stuff Pros..... Per my experience I say buy this mattress. Don't wait, grab it at the price it is now. I did not notice any sort of foul odor but I did open the windows and had the ceiling fan going while it inflated. It inflated to the full 12" and did so within an hour. We were sleeping on the mattress withing 4 hours of setting it up. It fit where our old king size was perfectly with no overhang or shortages size wise. It's around 2" taller than our old mattress so that took a little getting used to but it measured 12" with a regular school ruler. It was well packaged and fully deflated ready to go when it arrived. I'm a big girl and my husband is a fairly big guy and we both sleep comfortably on this mattress with our 3 large breed bed hogging dogs. When my husband moves at night he does so like a fish out of water and I have noticed he doesn't wake me up turning over because it's not bouncing me around like our old mattress did. I don't even really notice a dog moving around to a different spot. I'm a side sleeper who would love to sleep in a cloud so this did take some getting used to but it's never been uncomfortable. The first night getting to sleep and finding a comfortable position took a little bit but I could instantly feel I was better supported and my hip and shoulder didn't have the pressure it normally would. When I turned onto my back I felt almost like I was sleeping in a hammock. Not totally of course but the extra support was there where it hadn't been before. With what I saved on the mattress I went ahead and bought a nice mattress pad/cover to put on top to make it a little more soft. I had always been told you can make a firm mattress more soft but you can't make a soft mattress more firm so if it's too firm invest in a good pad and it can make a lot of difference if you prefer a softer bed. What I noticed right away is when I woke up I wasn't as sore. I feel a lot more rested in the morning and I'm not waking up to turn over or move around near as much as I was. Granted our old mattress was 10 years old and that had a lot to do with it, but still this mattress is obviously better and keeps me in a deep sleep for longer periods throughout the night. My husband also says he's sleeping better and isn't flopping around like he had been doing with the old mattress. He's the one of us always complaining about being hot while sleeping and he said he hasn't noticed this mattress makes that any worse, and if anything since he's not moving around so much it's better. We like it so much we plan to order the 8" version for our kid's bunk bed here soon. As we get more use of out this I will try to update this review for how it's holding up. I don't expect to get 10 years out of it, granted i probably shouldn't have tried to get 10 years out of the older one but it held up for at least 8-9 of those years. For this price I'd be happy if it lasts a couple of years. If it lasts longer even better. I highly suggest if this is too firm for you to buy a nice mattress pad and to buy it while it's at the price it is now.

I’ve owned this mattress for 9 years now (crazy how fast time flies), and I can honestly say I still love it just as much as when I first got it. It’s still in great condition, which really says a lot about the quality and durability. To be fair, we do take good care of it — we use a full protective cover to keep both sides safe from any spills or moisture, and we’ve also added extra layers of protection over time. That said, a mattress still has to hold up internally, and this one absolutely has. It’s remained comfortable, supportive, and hasn’t sagged like other mattresses I’ve owned in the past. Sleep quality has been consistently great, and I’ve never felt like I needed to replace it — even after all these years. If you’re looking for something long-lasting and worth the investment, this has definitely proven itself. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

THIS 👏🏻 BED 👏🏻 IS 👏🏻 THE 👏🏻 JAM. First off, I'm a flight attendant. I sleep in a lot of hotel beds. I know what a good and bad bad feels like. THIS BED IS AMAZING. Feeling impartial about the non conforming bed of the future? Think you'll miss the springs? No way. I promise. I felt the same. I sat there for 36 hours straight watching this bed rise in my kitchen festering the idea that I made a mistake. What is this? Why does it have to rise? Who even am I right now? The instructions were like one sentence and I probably messed it up. Omg what if I messed up?! 2017 is weird, I hate this. I hate New things. JK NOPE. I HAVE NO REGRETS! This bed cured my boyfriend's back pain. This bed cured my sleepless nights. MY PHAT @zz can sleep on my side without my spine feeling broken in half. I can sleep on my back or stomach no problem. I can't remember the last time I slept through the night... Now I can't wake up. We spent three days sleeping til 2pm. Today I missed my alarm for work by 2 hours. I legitimately slept through 2 hours of backup alarms that go off every 10 minutes. THIS BED IS THE DEVIL. But like a good devil that greets you with puppies and all things great in this world. This bed is the Oprah of beds. This bed is like getting a whole row to yourself on an airplane. This bed is like seeing your ex and they look like a potato and your eyeliner is so fleek it pierces their heart. This bed is freshly signed divorced papers. THIS BED IS ALL YOU NEED IN THIS LIFE. Its dirt cheap, soft yet firm, and will make you laugh pretty hard the first time you're trying to get rowdy on it. I've had this bed a few weeks now and I am pretty convinced that this is the best decision I've ever made in my life besides losing my virginity and buying a motorcycle. TOP THREE for sure. So stop debating and order this bed. Just do it. (Shia lebeouff voice) (I probably spelt that wrong) Oh and it doesn't smell bad. I read that it did. It smelled like it was compressed in a bag and shipped across the country which was expected, but it went away. Also the box makes a rad cat house. Xoxo

I’m NEVER going back to a traditional Mattress and this is why. I’m a mother of 5 going on 6 kids. We have a strict budget. I’ve struggled to find a good mattress that’s affordable for literally years!! I’ve tried all sorts of toppers that cost me an arm and a leg. I’ve spent good money on expensive traditional mattress’s. Until last year, I broke my back in a horse riding accident, in 4 different places, I’ve been having a hard time sleeping ever since. My back is never happy, doesn’t matter what I sleep on I always wake up in pain. I spent the night at my sister’s one night, and I couldn’t get over how comfortable her mattress was. She said it was just a cheap mattress from Amazon. I was like what! So I started looking into the “bed in a box” and I bought this one. And when I tell you that this mattress is the BEST mattress, I mean it! It’s soft but firm, it shapes to your body, you feel supported yet comfortable, I slept like a BABY last night! And I didn’t even have to wait for it to inflate, it just puffed up as soon as I opened the package. Quality is everything to me, and this is GOOD quality. I got the 12 inch king, only because I’ve never tried these beds before, and since they are basically foam and air I wanted the maximum thickness to prevent it from flattening. But this mattress is STRONG, it feels like a magic trick, and I loved the experience of unboxing. We threw it on a platform bed frame I bought, and BAM! My life is changed forever. I bought 3 twin sizes for my kids too of a different brand. Those ones are great too, but took longer to inflate. This one was even better. We ALL love our beds in a box. I can’t wrap my head around all the wasted money on traditional mattress’s and fancy toppers over the years. Not only that! It was so convenient to haul in my car, just a box. Not this awkward big mattress that needed a truck, no you can fit this box in the trunk of your car. Which is also very convenient, because I live a ways out of town and I get my Amazon packages delivered to a friends house. So when I brought this home it was soooo convenient. I’m so thankful and blessed that I get to have good sleeps now. Which is literally everything when you’re a mom like me, with a back injury. I can’t shut up about it, I feel like I have hope for good rest, and that means everything to me! It’s horrible living with chronic pain and constant fatigue from terrible sleeps. I could cry I’m so happy. Please if your like me! Consider it. It’s worth every penny. I was using the same one for 3 years while I was in US and now using the same brand from last 6 months. I totally recommend it. We liked it. Very comfortable and good sleep experience. However, it depends person to person. Quality and material is really good. I bought it 2nd time shows my satisfaction.

Increíble colchón, ya con medio año de uso puedo decir que es de las mejores compras que he hecho, tuve problemas con dolor de espalda por los colchones de resortes. Lo compre cuando estaba en menos de 3000 pesos y por eso no compras nada de esta calidad en el mercado, incluso valiendo hasta 5 mil pesos realmente valdría el precio. La calidad es excelente, es delgado pero es bastante firme y cómodo. No le pide nada a los colchones luna ni a otros de caja. Tarda aproximadamente 2 horas en recuperar su tamaño y otras 10 horas en esponjar perfectamente. Si tienen dudas con respecto al peso que soporta mi esposo y yo lo usamos y ambos pesamos más de 150 kilos entre los 2 y no dudo que soporte hasta 180 kilos cómodamente. No lo duden comprenlo :)

I have the king size 12 inch, I bought it to replace a soft sides water bed that our cat kept putting holes in. First good night's sleep I've had in a long time. It's, pretty much, as comfortable as the water bed was - but it won't leak. It fit the old king size box spring perfectly. There was a smell as it expanded, but we were able to sleep directly on the mattress the day after - no problems. The smell is gone, and the mattress is full and super comfy. And, yeah, it's also really firm at the same time. Difficult to describe, but it's the best feeling mattress I've had in my life I think. Knowing that there's a 10 year warranty helps, but as someone else said - if it only lasts 2 years it will be worth it as the price. I'll just buy another one. It sounds like, from other reviewers, it will last quite a bit longer than that. Very happy, excellent product. As a follow up, we've had this mattress almost 6 months now, and I absolutely love it. It's doing great, and as comfortable now as when we first got it. No smells, just a great mattress. The best I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few very expensive mattresses in my life. This could have saved me a lot of money, pain, and hassle.
