Tasty Every Day: All of the Flavor, None of the Fuss (An Official Tasty Cookbook)

My sister loves to cook and looks for ways to find new recipes and try them out. This book gives those recipes to her. I haven't seen her with the book, but I do know she uses it all the time. Its a great resource for her, and she bakes and cooks a lot. So, this was a great buy for her. If anyone is looking for recipes to try out or eat something new, Tasty Every Day delivers those experiences. I'd recommend this for anyone who wants to try a few new recipes and add a little fun in their life.

I’ve been using tasty recipes for years and this book has been great for those days when I run out of ideas. Very easy to follow and the food taste great!

This cookbook was a gift for my daughter. She is fairly new to cooking. The recipes feature great photos and clear instructions. She has successfully cooked several dishes from the cookbook. It has increased her cooking skills, expanded her repertoire and her cooking confidence! The recipes are indeed “Tasty”.

1. Chicken pot pie- perfect. Just like how it’s suppose to taste like. 2. Roasted chicken and rainbow vegetables: basic, but good. 3. Baked sweet Italian sausages: good for lunch. 4. Spaghetti with caramelized lemon, shrimp, & parsley: good for lunch. It’s a bit tart from those caramelized lemons (go figure). Different.. 5. Tuscan white bean soup: typical, but so good! Instead of slow cooker, I used my instant pot instead. Instant pot adaptation: all ingredients at high pressure for 30 minutes and natural release for 15 minutes. When done, stir in kale. 6. Asian style bbq ribs: excellent. 7. Beef and broccoli noodle stir fry: good, but be careful of soy sauce. Might be too salty depending on your brand soy sauce.. I also opted ramen noodle for rice. 8. Sweet & sour pork: good, but tedious. I would suggest prepping the pork in powder and set aside before starting to fry. It was be less of a hassle and mess that way in my opinion. 9. Oatmeal raisin energy bites: super easy, super yummy. 10. Creamy chicken and charred broccoli pasta: excellent. I actually ran out of chicken so I did ground beef instead.. Turn out just fine. 11. Arroz con pollo: Step 1 was not necessary. It sure where the oven came into play because the whole recipe just required to cook by pan. That being said, delicious. I enjoyed it very much. —————- The recipes seems to be accurate for the most part. The flavors in recipes are mainly good, but not spectacular. The cookbook is on the easy list. I would’ve love to see a little section on each recipe that tells you how long the prep and cook time (including marinate time) instead of looking through the steps to find them.

I am always struggling to find simple and delicious recipes for my family; this recipe book was great! So many easy things that still tasted great. There’s a few complicated recipes as well if you’re feeling a bit adventurous. I’ve used this pretty much every single night for the past week for our dinners.

There are about 5recipes in this whole book that I will try. I thought since it was from TASTY, that it would be yummy, fun and fast. Not so with the majority of the book. Good pix and instructions....but nothing like the many, many recipes I have seen on video, FaceBook and You Tube.
