New multicode transmitter works great!
I had a little bit of trouble getting the cover off the access the switches. Instructions tell you to use a small coin; I used a small screwdriver. Switches are easy to flip with a screwdriver. Works great!

Easy to setup, once the cover is off
Easy to set up as a replacement to an old remote once I got the cover off which was surprisingly frustrating but we got there. Set to the same settings as the old and voila. The only problem is that button came off during shipping and I can't get it to stay on.

It really works but...
Make sure it is 100% compatible with your garage door opener receiver first and is 300 MHz and has 10 dip switches only. I did my research on my very old Automatic Doorman 455 which I couldn't even find a manual online for. I'm sure the garage door opener is from 1986 when my condo was built. Anyway, I had seen where someone else wrote in a question for the same opener and the answer was a yes it is compatible. Well, I was skeptical and thought if this doesn't work, then I'll just replace the entire opener...which I didn't want to spend money on but wanted my convenience back of not getting out of the car to open the garage door. Especially with my garage being on a busy through street. It arrived quickly and I set the 10 digits the same as my broken opener and it worked from the get go!! I even took the car for a spin and tested from the same distance I used with my old one. No issues and I couldn't be happier that this was an inexpensive fix. Again, make sure your receiver is 300 MHz. The MHz was located on the back of my receiver which sits on top of the garage door opener. One more thing, I kept trying to "slide" open the new opener to set it and couldn't open it. If I had just taken the time to read the instructions that came with it, it says to use a small coin to pop open from the bottom. Just a heads up so you don't accidentally end up busting it open. Hope this works for you like it does for me. :)
