GRIDMANN Stainless Steel 1 Compartment Utility Sink with Right Drainboard, NSF Certified Commercial Kitchen Sink, 18" x 18" x 12" Bowl

I've had stainless in my laundry room forever- I tend to be 'rough' with my sinks as they must perform double duty with gardening and craft projects and not 'just' laundry. The Gridmann sink was good quality but it was not packaged very well, it arrived with a minor dent I could live with but the sink had a left drainboard, not a right drainboard as ordered and required for my design plan. I immediately emailed the seller who replied within 12 hours and offered a satisfying solution; 7 days later I received the correct sink. Other reviewers have complained about their service but I had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to order from them again.

I love this utility sink in my laundry room. The legs aren't as sturdy as I thought they would be but works great. We permanently attach to the wall to make sure it's stable. other than that, I think is a great buy for the price, you will pay big bucks at any big chain store. I would absolutely purchase it again.

I'm giving this a big benefit of the doubt when I give it 4 stars. But what bothers me might not bother others. Good news: the plumber who installed it said that he was surprised at the quality given the price (and he meant that in a good way). Bad news: the bottom of the sink is not perpendicular to the back splash. Actually all of the parts which should be horizontal are not perpendicular to the back splash. In other words, the bottom of the sink can be perfectly level (and therefore drain completely) OR the back splash can be perfectly vertical (and therefore flush with the wall), BUT YOU CAN'T HAVE BOTH. The attached photo illustrates the problem. I chose to have the back splash perfectly vertical (it's clamped to the wall) rather than to have the bottom of the sink perfectly level. And therefore there is always some water in the back of the sink. If you look at the photo you will notice that the legs are not perfectly vertical. And that's because they are vertical to the bottom of the sink which cannot be perfectly level because the sink is installed so that the back splash is flush with the wall (and therefore perfectly vertical). You will also notice (within the red oval) that a shelf bracket which the plumber installed to support the drainboard supports only the back of the drainboard. There is a gap between the front of the bracket and the drainboard. Another way to express the problem is that the parts which should be horizontal and level are not perfectly perpendicular to the parts which should be vertical. Also I was very disappointed in the packaging. The box it came in had been roughed up pretty good. The box should have been more sturdy and the handling should have been less violent. But for washing my hands and paint brushes I expect it will work just fine.

Very good quality. The top corners were bent in shipping but with a wooden block and a little work came back ok. The top backsplash was not vertically square to the sink- about a 1/2 inch bowed away from wall due probably to distortion from welding. Most of it but not all can be pulled out when installed securely to the wall. The faucet and brass adapters recommended elsewhere in comments were perfect for this sink- be sure to use quality pipe sealant (not teflon tape!) to put it all together before mounting the sink to the wall. I installed an AO Smith 12 gallon electric hot water heater below the drain board side- it just barely fits with no overhang and leaves room on top for the piping fittings.

This sink looks great and was the right price. I wish the shipper added more cardboard or foam. The sink came with a dent in the bottom and with the top part bent over 15 degrees. I decided the return process wouldn’t be worth it because overall the sink is still great. I rebent the the top and am living with the small dent in the bottom. With a little extra styrofoam this probably would be a 5 star review

We purchased this as a replacement for our laundry sink and it is perfect. Our laundry room is very small and a standard sink fits into an alcove but offers limited access to the sink. We chose this because the drain board would fit into the alcove and give us full access to the sink portion. I didn't expect to keep this area pristine so I can not speak to it being spot free. If you are planning on having this installed in your home you will want to inform your plumber that it is an industrial kitchen sink because there are apparently differences in how this will be installed.

This sink is very flimsy and not what I expected for the price. Planned to get rid of it because it is not what I wanted. Cannot be free standing. Only way to stabilize it is to attach it to a wall or build a cabinet around it.

I installed this unit in my garage. Deep tub makes for easy cleaning of larger objects and drip tray is handy for drying and storing items. I cut a piece of lumber the right thickness and mounted it behind the back splash. I screwed the lumber into the wall studs and then drilled a couple holes in the back splash and screwed the sink into the lumber. This makes the unit very sturdy.
