Love this stove
This is a great stove. I've made good use of the griddle and pizza oven. Haven't used the grill box yet. Waiting for good weather to cook outside. But, I've the griddle and pizza oven on an enclosed porch and it works great. The burner has plenty of heat capacity. Makes great smash burgers and pizzas.

Most precision low range control LP burner
This is as good as LP burners get. I've yet to see as precision low flame simmering ability from other LP stoves. It's closer to the performance of a nice natural gas kitchen stove. Pictures: The succotash used the low range to sauté to perfection, but yet it'll still crank up higher than most kitchen stoves to quickly cook a whole package of bacon in a just a few minutes. I ponied up for the electric igniter without prejudice, because some customers might not want it, so having it separate keeps the price lower for them. It really needs 'LS'BABQ Adjustable Leg Levelers' so you get it an even level of oil/grease in a large pan. I keep a magnetic torpedo level on it all the time. Pro Chef is the right name for this stove.

Overall excellent workmanship
I already own the 2-burner version of this, so I knew what I was getting with this product. I had bought the 2-burner for car camping, but it's just too much space, and I realized it was overkill. Still, I'm keeping that one. So I sprang for this one. It came very fast, well-packaged, with no dents in either Amazon's box or the Camp Chef box. The stand legs came with their own bag to put them in. Pros: As mentioned in the headline, excellent workmanship, sturdy and rugged base. I love stuff that looks and feels engineered to last nearly forever, and like that you can replace any part should you need to. I hate buying junk for a landfill. It has a massive burner which I love. Remarkably, you can fine-tune this down to Warm. I like the attached workspace/cover. It too is sturdy and appears well-made overall. But see below. I attached a propane tank, turned on the gas and the stove and it lit right up. Nice blue flame on the lower settings, Medium, Low and Warm. On high, it just seems too much and I got yellow flame as well as blue - but I'm not sure you even need the high setting. Cons: There are a couple, and that's why I couldn't give it 5 stars. I so wanted to, because I like their products. Even so, if I could have given it a 4.5 rating, I would have. 1. The folding table/workspace does not sit flat. There's a slight incline to it. If it's meant to be that way - I don't like it. Things can slide toward the fire. With some pans, the bottom surface is slick enough to slide if jostled slightly. Other pans don't move. It's not likely much of a problem but I don't like being even a little chancy with fire. 2. The biggest disappointment though are the stand legs. Not one of the four would secure to the base legs. The finger adjusting screws are just a touch too short. My workaround to this was to wrap the legs once around with electrical tape, at which point they would stay secured. Also, possibly because of the tape, the legs feel a little wobbly. If I were to design this a bit better for the legs, I would tap the base legs and have longer adjusting finger screws to screw right in them. I would also engineer the stand legs to a closer fit to the base legs. Would I buy it again? Yes I certainly would. The workaround for the legs was an easy solution. I can probably eliminate any wobbliness by wrapping the entire base leg once around with electrical tape, where the stand legs insert into the base legs.

Rock solid stove! Used for roasting coffee, but the possibilites are endless
Pictures don't really show the sturdy construction or impressive size of the Pro 30. I'm currently using it without the leg extensions, but they are just as solid as the rest of the unit. With a 14x16 inch cooking area, it can handle quite a load. I do a LOT of outside cooking, including roasting my own coffee. I had been using a 12,000 BTU side burner on an old, rusted out gas grill to roast green coffee beans, but the side burner recently died and I had no interest in refurbishing the gas grill. I needed a new stove for roasting coffee beans. After considering all the options, I chose the Camp Chef Pro 30. I'm glad I did. Roasting coffee beans on the side burner limited me to calm, no wind days for the quickest roast. Roasting a pound of coffee usually took 19-21 minutes; longer in any wind. The wind was howling with gusts to 25 MPH for my first coffee roast with the Pro 30, a true test of the stove. After adjusting the air intake behind the low-med-high knob, I had a flame that held up nicely to the wind. With the Pro 30, in the strong wind, I roasted a pound of green coffee in 12 minutes on the medium setting! I've been roasting coffee for about two years, on average one roast every 7 days. The wind will no longer be a factor and the Pro 30 will save me a lot of time. I own the Camp Chef Rainier table top stove for camping, and can serve 2-4 people easily with it, but could not use it for roasting coffee with the 10" Dutch oven I use. With the Pro 30 and a big pot of chili, stew, or soup, I'll be able to serve a large family. For the $70 I paid for the Pro 30 here on Amazon, it is a GREAT value!

After almost a couple years now, and still loving it!!
this is a good one - so much easier packing this 1 burner around than the more commonly seen 2 burner one. Use it for our "get-together's" when traveling with our Teardrop Trailer group. Don't take me wrong, the 2 burner one was good and worked just fine, but ended up being too big/heavy for yanking in and out of the PU truck box when traveling along with it's griddles - this is half the weight/space and is so much easier to clean and deal with. It is also easier to deal with here at home for the same reasons!!!!!!!!!!

Camp Chef is the Best!
We have a similar three burner that we use for camping, but purchased this unit to take to the beach on day trips. We already had the 14" Grill top for our three burner that fits on top of this unit. There is NO cooking compromise on this small unit. The 30,000 BTU burner can easily produce a 700 degree temp on the Grill! It can also be turned down to a 300 degree roasting oven. Whether seared steaks or roasted Cornish Game Hen are your choice, the power and durability of this unit will not disappoint. For you 'Foodies', you'll have commercial kitchen results in the wild! Note that, unless your are cooking on a pan over the flame, the optionally purchased 14" Grill unit will be needed. Camp Chef also makes a 14" Griddle for this unit. Suggestion: this unit comes with legs to protect surfaces and raise it up to a comfortable height. However, uneven surfaces can be an serious issue. We would suggest purchasing the inexpensive Camp Chef 'leg levelers'. They are easy to install and will keep your cooking surface level in outdoor terrain. Note: if weight is an issue, you may wish to purchase a lighter, safer Viking Composite Propane tank!
