Skin prep works well.
The best skin prep I have found to use under my ostomy appliance. Heals and prevents irritated areas.

No sting, works great
Works well. Let completely dry, it won’t take long. I use it before sticking my foam dressings on. It doesn’t sting and my skin doesn’t pull when removing the dressings.

Works fast
The spray is nice to happen and I was also supposed to get the the pads but then I was told Oct 18 is when the pads will arrive instead of like Sept 27 so now I’m using up the liquid spray so I order different pads that are going to arrive Oct 8 I haven’t checked lately. Free shipping is awesome the only way to make goods feasible, thank you Amazon.

It really works when used per directions
My husband has had a vacuum wound pump for several weeks, with some weeks still to go. The adhesive film that comes with it is all but impossible to remove, to the point of being very difficult even when using top quality film remover. It can be excruciatingly painful to the patient, especially if it is a wound where hair grows adjacent to the wound area. When you have to change the dressing 3 times a week, it can be sheer ongoing torture. This Skin Potectant from Medline is the one that is part of the total package that is to be used with the film that comes with the 3M pump we have. You do have to make sure the skin is dry and clean and free from oil/skin grease. Then you apply a thin coat all over the area that will have the tape or special film and give it time to dry. This is important. The tape or film will stick properly but will come off ever so much easier. Combined with the film remover compound, it is almost a breeze and no pain involved at all. Some reviews complain that the product becomes "hard," that the sprayer won't work after a while, and/or that it is difficult to remove the cap. All of these are true. I don't care. It is a challenge to get the cap off after just a few initial uses, but to me, to decrease my husband's pain level almost to zero, it is worth the effort.Only 4 stars because of the fact that the spray only works a few times and then it still is difficult to get the cap off to use the liquid.

Great product for adhering my ostomy bag.
Perfect size to travel with. I apply it twice while covering my stoma. Works well.

Comfort is key.
When you have an open wound and requires additional reinforcement with an adhesive dressing ,skin prepping the border is best if you desire an every three day treatment. Never apply an alcohol based skin prepping directly onto a wound. Comfort is key and a non sting prep is key.

Seems great! Just got it. Also sharing other solutions
I have a problem with raised areas right next to / on the perimeter of the stoma soft moist area. I can never get a seal to cover those areas, seepage within the same day of changing my bag. These areas become an entry point to spread under the seal, so frustrating. I have an ileostomy thus almost ALWAYS liquidity output. The areas are raw & does not heal, as the output enters the area the pain level is 9 or 10, horrific. I just got this product thus far seems very good, will update soon. What makes my situation worse is that the stoma is RIGHT AT THE BELT LINE. As such wearing a belt and trouser & underwear tops continually rubs on it. Some things I have done to mitigate that is wearing soft sweats & very soft stretchy underwear made of very light fabric. The underwear alone has been a great help. Still trying different ones. I share this so others can identify causes of the irritation problem so that you can try the solutions I have found so far.The softest stretchy fabric underwear I found so far is:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R5Q4RPJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Leaks
Works GREAT. Bottle leaks a lot. Probably only was able to use 70% of the bottle and the rest leaked when applying. Great but a bummer
